From notes: Poured clear orange-amber, with a 2-finger bone-colored head. Light aroma of orange quickly gives way to nutty and caramelly malt. Medium body, finish is soft and a bit dry. Flavor of nutty malt, with a touch of orange and a citrus hops bitterness that lingers at the back.

12oz bottle at Coney Island. Pours amber with offwhite head and decent lacing. Nose is caramel and a tad floral. Sip introduces light pine with citrus notes. Hoppy for an ESB.

Bottle. Dark amber pour, thin disc of carbonation and an aroma of light malty cherries. Flavor is lightly malty, bready and light hints of plums and dry hops. Nice beer, and even better at $4/sixer on clearance.

Bottle. Coppery amber pour with a tall, foamy tan head. Aroma is malty with caramel notes, soft floral hops, dried fruit and light nuttiness. Taste is floral and earthy hops blended with caramel, light toffee notes, toasted nuts, dark bread, sweet malt and dried fruit. Body is medium with a rich, creamy carbonation. Slightly chewy as well. Ends with more caramel, toffee notes, toasted dark bread, light nuttiness, earthy hops, floral notes, soft fruitiness and tea.

12oz bottle, black & white label. Copper color, tan foam. Aroma of toasted barley malts. Earthy floral notes. Soft flavor, creamy malts. Sweet toasted grain body. Earthy bite, wooded character, nicely hopped. Finishes with huge caramel notes, with hearty grains. (3825)

Pours a dark, cloudy amber with an unusual yellowish, bubbly head, that dissipates quickly. Sour and malty, moderate hops. It’s okay but I still don’t really get the appeal of the style.

Amber pour with an off white head. Very pale flavored beer. Watery, not much hops, malty finish. Very mediocre. Bummer.

Pour light amber with white head. Aroma is strong caramel malts. Tons of caramel malts, very smooth texture, easy to drink. Very malty with not nearly as much bitterness as I would expect, its actually got a little sweetness to it. Its got a little bit of citrus hops going on, fairly subtle though. Pretty good.

A decent though not outstanding ESB. Hop bitterness in the aftertaste, I would like to get something more out front in taste and aroma. Lacy, dark golden. Medium mouthfeel. Very drinkable, nevertheless.
