Pours a reddish amber with a respectable antique lace head. Aroma is both fruity and piney. Taste is smooth and malty with buttery caramel, bread dough and a clean hop bitterness at the finish. Good stuff!

Pours a clear dark copper color with a decent head that fades to nice lacing. Aroma of malt, fruit, a bit floral with just a it of citrus. Taste follows with roasted malt, fruit and some grain. Mild bitterness and the finish is quite dry. Fairly medium body, crisp and quite smooth with a grainy touch. Pleasant beer for the style, but I do favor their Harvest Ale.

Bottle; poured a dark orange-auburn with a frothy off white head. Aroma of toffee, caramel, earth, and fruit. Toasted and toffee undertones, with notes of sweet, fruit and earth. Good

Bottle. Dark amber color with a small, off-white head. Biscuit aroma with sweet malty tones. Sourdough and bitter floral flavors balanced out pretty well with the sweet malts. Dry texture with average carbonation. Nothing special but very drinkable.

12 oz bottle served in a snifter. Cloudy, amber-brown with a tan head. Head has limited retention and leaves average lacing. The appealing, malt-dominated aroma is a bit faint but has hints of dates and vague dark fruits. Adequately flavorful for style, with a mix of sweet and roasted malts, some fruitiness (again, some dates), and a very mild bitterness. Very good feel, particularly in the markedly dry finish; Medium-light body. Good carbonation.

So.... I don’t really know what to be looking for in an ESB so I’ll go on preference alone. A; Hops, malt. A little light but with good balance. A: Looks fine.... brown amber color. T: Tastes fine but nothing special. Goes down easy. some hops on the finish. P: Palate is ok. medium body. Not a lot of flavor. Overall this is a super average beer. Not a lot of taste notes. Some hops. Some malt. Nothing

Draft at coles, amber orange pour. Mild bitterness, sweet maltiness, light fruitiness. Fuller mouthfeel. Not overwhelming in the ESB category. It a nice beer

bottle. clear reddish copper with a big, fluffy, off-white head. floral hop and tea aroma. a different tasting roasted malt note with a nutty character behind a healthy dose of hops. cakey finish. Too aggresive for such a delicate style. medium bodied. i thought it was a brett porter!

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Biscuity caramel aroma with florals and honey. Flavors are floral, grassy hops with caramel and biscuit, green grape with a slightly juicy feel. A bit basic, but it has a very nice hoppiness and bitterness to it.

Nice burnt orange color with off white foam. Light grainy aroma, hints of sweetness from grain. The flavor is more earthy and not as sweet. Simple English bittering hops give some dry floral a light spice with the pale English malts almost beating out the little bit of roasted grains. Lingering bitter with strange aftertaste, still a solid effort.
