3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear bronze-orange color with a medium thick and foamy white head that diminishes slowly. Sticky patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, earthy hops and a touch of fruit. The finish is moderately sweet with a bready malt aftertaste. Decent ESB overall.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A decent though not outstanding ESB. Hop bitterness in the aftertaste, I would like to get something more out front in taste and aroma. Lacy, dark golden. Medium mouthfeel. Very drinkable, nevertheless.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks zvikar. Slightly hazy copper. Aroma of malt, earth, some oxidation, honey-ish notes, a bit of caramel and light fruitiness. Sweetish flavor, malty, a bit oxidized (cardboard), with mild fruitiness and caramel and a finish with very mild bitterness. Medium-bodied.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pint on tap at Lexington Beerworks. Clear copper red orange color. Thin off-white khaki head. Good retention. Solid amount of lace. Smooth, lighter, kind of crisp carbonation. Medium body, lightly dry finish. Nice toasty malt, light to moderate English-style hops. Good moderate bitter taste, little sweet. Arguably, kind of lame that Goose Island chooses to do an ESB for their 25th, but at least itís a pretty respectable, well-done ESB
