Pours a clear orange with about a finger and change of stark white slowly dissipating head. Some caramel and straw in the nose. Starts out with a maltiness that has a hint of caramel and burnt toast that ens with a more pronounced burnt toast bitter aftertaste. Almost has some ESB character to it, interestingly enough. Itís got more going for it than regular 312, though it lacks for mouthfeel.

Clear dark amber color. Not much aroma, slightly hoppy. Good taste with a tart hoppy initial taste. Mildly tart after taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amber pour with an off-white head. Aroma is light malt. Taste is a nice malty mouth feel, nice malt aftertaste. Light ho flavor. OK lacing.

Bottom of the can is stamped reads "20Nov14". Iím thinking that is a born on date. This was poured into a pint glass. Keeping it proper. The appearance is a clear bronzed yellow color with a one finger white rocky foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. Nice slightly sticky lacing graces the glass. The smell had a sweet grassy ordeal of malty covered hops. Bitterness is mostly subdued but shows a subtlety of slight "pine" aroma. Itís really hard to pick out but itís somewhat there. The taste was sticky sweet through the malts. Thereís a a semi - clean sweet grass aftertaste leading to a sticky finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was mainly subdued but still good for its style. Overall, I say this was a pretty good APA, a bit maltier than expected but then again I did have one from November of 2014. Iíll look for fresher next time.

Faint corn aroma. Mouth feel is thin and wateey. Smooth finish though. Not the best Goose Island has to offer but this is a smooth drinking pale.

Clear copper, big lasting lacing foam head. Decent hoppy aroma and nice bitter taste. A better beer, but then all Gooseís so far were OK. (Houston 201501)

Just okay pale. Gold color. Citrus and slight spice in the aroma. Taste was light bodied, hop forward, some biscuit.

Not bad. Not a huge fan of the style. But this is pretty good. Aroma is pretty spicy and I really like that. Appearance is pretty dark, Goose Island description is "marigold." I wonít disagree with that. Taste is crisp and slightly bitter, canít go wrong there. Moutfeel is pretty good, it has a slight bitterness in the aftertaste, it lingers a bit. I like it okay, I will try it again.

Not a fan. Has a great appearance but not a great taste to the palate. Will try the other goose islands

Bottle from ABC. Pours a clear sparkling gold with a medium white head and some decent lacing; both stick around quite nicely. Aromas are full of citrus with a slight bread malt backbone. Taste is pretty sweet throughout with a pretty short, dry finish. A decent pale ale, no doubt, but nothing more. Acquire.
