Like the digits suggest, itís a beer thatís densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We donít filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thatís how you know itís unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Itís not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youíd expect.

bottled. pours pale golden with an average white head. smells of citrus and herb and grass. it is lightly sweet and light bodied. not much finish. reminds me of bud light wheat more than a craft wheat.

Aroma is good and appearance like most wheats is golden. Tastes different than other wheats I have tried over the years but is very good and comes from a good brewery which has many other fine beers.

Pours dull yellow-orange, soapy white head, some lacing. Aroma of citrus, spice, flowers, but kind of faint. A balanced taste with citrus, hops, and a bit of bubblegum. Leaves an interesting kind of sweet coating, almost like honey. A good creamy/oily mouth. Refreshing summer beer.

12 fl oz bottle. Yellowish golden with a small haze. Small off-white head. Soft and mellow wheaty nose with a hint of apricots. Medium-bodied and a little oily texture. Fairly neutral flavourwise, but the beer is quite pleasant as it has a little body. Refreshing and easy drinking.

12 oz bottle. Dull orange color, off white head, great lacing. Aroma of black pepper and orange rind. Taste is citrus, malt, light spice, and the barest hint of burnt embers. Interesting.

Hazy yellow beer. Low aroma with notes of citrus, wheat and sulphur. Wheat flavour with some citrus notes and dry, a bit acidic finish.

Aroma: characteristic "wheaty" aroma mixed with a pleasently sour aroma of citrusy origins; Appearance: nothing special to me, just slighly more golden than a traditional American lager; Taste: good initial impression but loses its edge towards the end, very drinkable, and the wheat wins out over the citrus accents, which is a good thing; Palate: better in the beginning, loses fizz quickly; Overall: it is something I could drink a lot of if it were on tap and if I werenít paying a premium price for it, a good backyard barbeque beer if that makes any sense

Tap. Light grain and herbs for the malt and hops, with some pear and wood notes in the background. Head is small, frothy white with thin lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is slightly hazy, which eventually clears, golden/yellow. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic. Palate is light, watery and has a soft carbonation. Not bad but nothing outstanding about this Wheat Ale.

Beautiful pour of orange fog with a nice foamy head that lasts. Smells light and a hint of citrus. Taste is real smooth and light, but not a lot there.

20100606 tap at OíHare. Pale golden, medium haze, lasting white froth. Nicer looking than your standard American Wheat. Aroma is mildly cascade and light lemony biscuit. Just fine stuff, nicely refreshing. Lingering c-hop bitterness and perfumes.
