3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
The first whiff is lemon ctirus, then grass and cloves. (No banana, refreshingly.) Some earthy wheat husk. Quite nice.
Appears pale yellow, pillowy white head. Very cloudy with sediment. Good head retention. Minimal lacse, but there is some.
The flavor is acidic citrus at the front of the tongue; earthy grains on the bakc. Very accessible, mild and with not a hint of bitterness.
A smooth, somewhat watery finish. A mildly hopped, earthy brew. Pleasant and balanced. Pretty good.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours golden yellow. Cloudy unfiltered, light citrus taste. Very smooth and easy drinking. This is a good thirst quencher for a hot summer day. Overall, not that exciting or different though. Very similar to Samual Adams Coastal Wheat. If I had to choose between the two, I’d probably opt for the Sam Adams, but overall this is a decent brew.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Slightly hazy light yellow with a quite large white head.
Weak fruity aroma with bread and some citrus.
Flavor was also weak. Reminded much of a lager, bread and some honey. Boring beer that was too watery.

Eagan, Mn. - Old Chicago Pizza - 12 oz bottle. Bright golden pour that turns cloudy after settling. Snow white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Sweet aroma with hints of lemon drops. Flavor has some hints of banana and cloves. Mouthfeel - thick enough. Overall, a decent wheat.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Clear golden colour, at least I don’t see much of haziness. Might be the haze, höhö. Metal, black tea, and subtle citrusy hops. Light bodied and crisp, really lacking in maltiness and all. Bit of citrusy hops but that’s just l-i-t-t-l-e. Dull beer here, dull style. Body is pretty smooth but what good does that do now?

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Bottle) Pours hazy yellow with a medium sized white head. The aroma is of lemon, orange and apricot alongside mild spicy and honey-like tones. Pale malty and wheat-ish with notes of white bread and grain. Light salty with a touch mild wood, vegetables and herbs. Bit muddy. Hints of wort. The flavour is light sweet, light bitter light acidic. Tones of citrus fruits, watery wheat and mild hops. The mouthfeel is watery and clean with a medium carbonation. “Pale” and dry finish. Bit honey-like in the finish. Light bodied. Light but nice.
