3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma: characteristic "wheaty" aroma mixed with a pleasently sour aroma of citrusy origins; Appearance: nothing special to me, just slighly more golden than a traditional American lager; Taste: good initial impression but loses its edge towards the end, very drinkable, and the wheat wins out over the citrus accents, which is a good thing; Palate: better in the beginning, loses fizz quickly; Overall: it is something I could drink a lot of if it were on tap and if I weren’t paying a premium price for it, a good backyard barbeque beer if that makes any sense

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap. Light grain and herbs for the malt and hops, with some pear and wood notes in the background. Head is small, frothy white with thin lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is slightly hazy, which eventually clears, golden/yellow. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic. Palate is light, watery and has a soft carbonation. Not bad but nothing outstanding about this Wheat Ale.

Beautiful pour of orange fog with a nice foamy head that lasts. Smells light and a hint of citrus. Taste is real smooth and light, but not a lot there.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
20100606 tap at O’Hare. Pale golden, medium haze, lasting white froth. Nicer looking than your standard American Wheat. Aroma is mildly cascade and light lemony biscuit. Just fine stuff, nicely refreshing. Lingering c-hop bitterness and perfumes.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Aroma has notes of citrus and banana. Pale yellow clear hue with an average white foamy head that diminished and left little lace. Flavor is sweet and mild then fades fast. Palate is very light bodied and watery with decent carbonation. Overall it tasted more like a macro light beer with some citrus than a craft brewed wheat ale. Refreshing though.

Had this on tap. Clear with a medium head. Smells of grass, citrus and bannana. Taste crisp mildly sweet. Grain and grass come through on chewing. Medium carbonation which a decent mouth feel. A good example of wheat.

By far my favorite beer. Nice head. Hazy/cloudy appearance, golden. Perfect amount of sweet/bitter.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at their Clybourne brewpub. A fairly clearn, yellow-gold body with a bleached two inch head in the weizen glass. The aroma is heavily subdued and I can barely smell a thing. An incredibly light, near watery mouthfeel with frothy footing that brings her to light-medium body. The front is smooth, with a tide of carbonation rising on the mid-back end of the palate, tied to a lemony citrus bite that lingers past the fall of the bitterness. A nice little wheat beer--unimpressive but respectable in its balance. The story here lies in the bite mid-end.

On tap at Rattle’n’Hum. Medium lite cereal grain flavor. A bit malty and toast-like. Lite on the hops.
