2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 LilKem (1214) - Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUN 22, 2006
an o.k. american wheat but kind of bland. flavors and aromas consisted mainly of banana, nutmeg, lemon, honey, and hops. pretty weak for a goose island.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 eve (240) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - JUN 21, 2006
A decent hot-weather American wheat, pours cloudy pale gold, very subtle spicing and watery flavor but thirst-quenching, I consider this an affordable but decent lawnmower beer.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MrManning (1982) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 20, 2006
Bottle courtesy of Philip, thanks a lot! Pours hazy yellow with a frothy, white, one finger cap. Good retention. Banana and spices in the nose with some citrus and pineapple. Taste is a watered down version of all elements found in the nose. Its got the banana, lemon, spices, and yeast, but not as full as I would like. Crisp, refreshing, good for the summer, and I like beer in the summer! Thanks Phil!
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bubbleflubber (1423) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - JUN 18, 2006
On tap at the Riverside Tavern in Chicago. Pours nice and hazy with a hugely retentive head. The aroma is primarily of wheat and lemongrass. Flavor and mouthfeel are both soft, with the carryover from the nose of lemongrass and wheat notes. The finish is somewhat bitter and crisp at the end. A good summer brew, and definitely a quencher, but what it lacks in complexity makes it "middle of the road" in comparison to others of the style.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 blkitson (157) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - JUN 14, 2006
After a long day of sighting seeing, this was the first beer that I had and it was new to me. Very good tasting as it was quite cold. I had the draught and i’m assuming it tastes the same as the bottled
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Jabswitch (278) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 13, 2006
Hazy pale gold. Very fizzy. Wheaty aroma. Not a lot of character in the taste. Slightly sour aftertaste. It is a decent beer - especially when you need a thirst quencher.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 MrBunn (2219) - Western, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 13, 2006
Pours a dirty, light straw color with a small, scuzzy head. Aromas are bready with some pear notes underneath. Flavor is about the same. Pretty mild and boring.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Hangover (980) - Atlanta, Alabama, USA - JUN 10, 2006
Tap in Chicago at Bennigans. Actually, it looked pretty good for a hefe. Murky orange pour with a buttload of sediment. Aroma is... bleh. Taste is...bleh. I noted a heavy wheat presence, thin and watery body and a bit of soapiness. I like my summer beers, especially on this day in Chitown, but I think the Widmer they had on tap would be a bit better.

Got this as part of a variety pack. Not a bad beer, but nothing special to it.
