Was not terribly impressed. Itís a typical American beer thatís trying just slightly harder than Budweiser to have some kind of flavor. Not bad but certainly average.

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2008 On Tap, This is Goose Island worst excuse for a beer. Extremely light color wheat ale. Taste is non descript. Very little flavor. Quickly diminishing head. This is NOT a good beer. Goose Island has did a dis-service by making this.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
On tap pours a somewhat hazy golden color with a thin white head. Has some aroma that smells like a soft wheat beer. Taste is nothing spectacular and is uninteresting. Boring brew.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Yellow hazy pour with lots of wheat in the nose, some spiciness and malt in the flavor but wheat is the domineering character here. Nothing special.

DraftÖ DLDí08Ö Hazy, straw-colored ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Good retention. Lots of citrus and pale grains in the aroma. Light to medium-bodied with a mildly creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Sweet (too sweet) with reserved citrus. Finishes sweet and grainy.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Average beer weak taste over all. still far better then a normal commercial American beer such as Bud or Miller. Golden in color decent balance, weak head that leaves early on.

A rather bland drink. It has a decent citrus aroma with not much left to the imagination. A clear tan/orange color with a light taste. A typical wheat ale with no "WOW". Probably wonít buy again.
