3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Medium yellow, nice head. Aroma of wheat, quite bready. Rough mouthfeel from the carbonation. Flavor is a straightforward American Wheat. Perhaps the faintest hint of hops at the end, but not much going on there at all. Not bad, but not great. Glad to try it though. Thanks Secret Santa!

sampled at columbus alefest. pours hazy yellow with a small head. little to no aroma with just a hint of fruityness. wheat flavor, subtle spiceness and little hoppyness. overall, a bland wheat, but would be refreshing on a hot day.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle into shaker (pounder). Pours out a hazy bannana yellow with an obviously intact trub. Head is slight and mildly creamy. Scent is very estery with a strong wheat backbone and a hint of a citrus element. Taste is very full bodied and surprisingly tart and sweet. definite wheat elements as well as hops, and a distinct fruitiness. Palate is sweet and fruity with a mild yeasty residue intermixed. Very complex flavour but not all of the elements marry perfectly... Still yet a good drink, and very drinkable as well.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2006 B ottle. Pours a very hazy pale gold, with a very tiny tiny wisp of a head. Faint aroma of yeast esters, wheat malt, lemon. Mouthfeel has some faint creaminess, but has more watery texture. Flavor of wheat malt, some phenols, citrus. Some acidity in the finish along with some tang. This is not as bad as the ratings indicate. A crisp refreshing brew, but not a memorable one. Maybe Goose brewed this one to cater to the Blue Moon drinkers?

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle: Pours a dull orange color with virtually no head. Has an earthy aroma with some hops and slight citrus. The taste is very uninspiring... itís almost like a cross breed between a major macro and an average hefeweizen. It finishes on an almost sour note. For a beer, itís ok.... comparatively to other wheat beers, itís not good.

not bad, kind of bland. Basically what the discription says, it doesnít surprise me in anyway or overwhelm me with something unique, but it is drinkable.

Available all over Chicago, the first couple I had went down at treat in a night club, come pool hall, in down town. We had been tipped that this place was the ticket and with every girl a 10-bid, the Aussie accent and straight-to-it charm was on form. The beer never tasted as good anywhere else but I can live with that.

12oz bottle labeled BB 091306. Poured a light to medium and slightly hazy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of wheat, bananas, and some citrus (all on the very light side). Tastes of the same (also very light and watery). Body on the thin and watery side.

Very dissapointing from such a good brewer. It does look unfiltered. But unfiltered what grass and lemon? I brought this home all the way from chicago?

Bottle. Light sweet apple, banana and wheat aroma. Hazy orange-yellow color with small head. Lemon wheat flavor. Nothing special - an average Am wheat.
