Had at the brewpub. Yellow color with a lot of carbonation. Thick foamy head. No real discernable taste. It was very smooth, but it might as well ahve been water.

When I was at Goose Island, this was called Urban Wheat. Yellow. Highly carbonated with a thick foamy head. No taste. Very smooth. Might as well drink water.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pale gold color clouded by hefe trub. Not much head for a wheat. Fairly pleasant sour aroma. Yeasty flavor with just a hint of grapefruit. Not sweet, not sour, not very flavorful. Inoffensive but nothing to write home about. 312 is the Chicago area code, but if youíre looking for a great wheat beer this is a wrong number.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had side by side with thier hefeweizen. Very similar to eachother, except the urban wheat was very very pale gold and the hefe was a bit deeper- both were cloudy. Aroma is light bready wheat, a crisp light citrus character and a touch of herbal/citrus/orange hops. Flavor is lightly fruity, bready, and lightly bitter. Finishes crisp and clean yet pretty smooth overall.

Poured a nice hazy gold colr with a tight golden head and some fizzy bubbles in itís own weizen style glass. A small yeasty nose. Fairly bland wheat flavor, but really decent mouthfeel. Not bad, but not great. Worth trying if your in the mood for a wheat.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The bottle poured a hazy pale yellow beverage with a small smooth white head that lasted well and left decent lacing on the glass. The aroma presented a spicy blend of hop aroma with citrus and earthy tones lurking in the background. The body was medium-light with lively carbonation and a somewhat dry texture. The flavor started off tart and watery. It had a medium finish with a tart, somewhat dry character leaving a clean mouthfeel.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
This one sort of disappointed me after enjoying the 5 new Wheat series from Goose Island. 312 was way, way too light and lifeless. If I tried very hard, I could deciphor a hint of the wheat beer flavor and spice, but it just fell short in terms of body and flavor. The Bud Lite of Wheat beers.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
this is better than a 2.8 i feel. i mean, itís no gumballhead, but itís not supposed to be. a good summer session beer by most measures, i think an otherwise muted citrus character is pronounced well by a slice of lemon/orange. certainly best out of the weizen glass.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
When poured the beer looks to be unfiltered. Hazy straw like color with lots of floating sediment. Citrusy lemon nose. Mildly carbonated and dry, with notes of lemon and grass flavors, and a touch of hops in the finish. An okay beer/wheat.
