Like the digits suggest, itís a beer thatís densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We donít filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thatís how you know itís unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Itís not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youíd expect.

bottle. Cloudy lemon color pour with a white head. Aroma is papery and wheaty with not much else going on. More paper and wheat in the flavor with a modicum of citrusy fruit notes. Light, thin, and boring , though not offensive in any way. Goose Island certainly makes more appealing offerings.

Pours light hazy yellow with a moderately sized white head. Aroma is fairly non-descript with some light wheat character. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Starts off with smooth wheat character - not much else at the beginning. The finish is prickly and somewhat metallic. This is an okay beer, but not really up to Goose Island standard in my opinion. Pretty much a plain wheat beer.

Light fruity aroma with some hops is noticible. The color is a very pale yellow with a small white head. Slight citrusy and hoppish taste accompanied by a light finish.

I found this to be a good tasting beer, despite the low rating. Light, but flavorful, but, by no means overpowering. Perfect for a boatside session on the dock. a thick white head that fades slowly. Color is dissapointing. Pale yellow, not very cloudy as the description suggests. Aroma is wheat, but smells very much like a lager, and also slight citrus. Flavor is also kind of pale to me. Wheat, citrus, faint fruits. Like I said before, it is light, but very quenching. The boys at GI did a good job on this one.

Had at the brewpub. Yellow color with a lot of carbonation. Thick foamy head. No real discernable taste. It was very smooth, but it might as well ahve been water.

When I was at Goose Island, this was called Urban Wheat. Yellow. Highly carbonated with a thick foamy head. No taste. Very smooth. Might as well drink water.

Pale gold color clouded by hefe trub. Not much head for a wheat. Fairly pleasant sour aroma. Yeasty flavor with just a hint of grapefruit. Not sweet, not sour, not very flavorful. Inoffensive but nothing to write home about. 312 is the Chicago area code, but if youíre looking for a great wheat beer this is a wrong number.

Had side by side with thier hefeweizen. Very similar to eachother, except the urban wheat was very very pale gold and the hefe was a bit deeper- both were cloudy. Aroma is light bready wheat, a crisp light citrus character and a touch of herbal/citrus/orange hops. Flavor is lightly fruity, bready, and lightly bitter. Finishes crisp and clean yet pretty smooth overall.

Poured a nice hazy gold colr with a tight golden head and some fizzy bubbles in itís own weizen style glass. A small yeasty nose. Fairly bland wheat flavor, but really decent mouthfeel. Not bad, but not great. Worth trying if your in the mood for a wheat.

The bottle poured a hazy pale yellow beverage with a small smooth white head that lasted well and left decent lacing on the glass. The aroma presented a spicy blend of hop aroma with citrus and earthy tones lurking in the background. The body was medium-light with lively carbonation and a somewhat dry texture. The flavor started off tart and watery. It had a medium finish with a tart, somewhat dry character leaving a clean mouthfeel.
