2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20
12 oz bottle: Moderately hazy golden yellow w/ very little thin, white head. Lightly floral w/ grainy and wheat malt aromas. Some over cooked canned corn(DMS) and lightly plasticky aromas as well. Thereís also a Catawba grape fruitiness...odd! Well balanced flavor, wheat malt is predominant. Actually is sort of tastes like Natural Light with hops! Light corn flavor, finish is sort of bland w/ a short lived wheat malt flavored aftertaste. Medium carbonation, smooth m/f, light body. Iím not too hip on some of the aromas like the plasticky or corn, and the flavor is rather bland, even for a wheat.

Dull, hazy yellow hue with respectable head. Citrus bloom aroma. Mellow flavors ... mild yeast, white bread, citrus. Sweet, lemony.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Good for an American wheat. Light wheat aroma and light wheat taste. There is pleasant citrus, and it is a little sweet. I would prefer a hefe, but this lighter beer with the citrus is an ok substitute.

Just a bad beer. Weak nose and palate and flavor. Weak, bland, dull on all fronts. Very forgettable.

Very disappointed in this GI offering. Aroma and taste were very bland. Not much to offer here.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hereís a lemony snicket tart and tangy wheat beer. Nice looking - hazy pale golden, very good head and lacing. Aroma has some clove to itís sweetness. Very refreshing flavor, easty to drink.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
On tap at brewery. Aroma leaning more towards a mild ale with lemon accents. Taste is sour, yeasty and lemon-lime. Sharp and acidic, with some pine elements. Thin, but smooth. Too much yeast, carbonation and hops, but where are the malts? Crisp, clean and sour finish. Overall, not very good - like a pale lager with extra yeast and lemon juice.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Had this one bottled. Somewhat cloudy dark yellow color, thick head, nose of hops and bread, clean tastes of grapefruit, very, very good wheat beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Old Chicago, Rockford. Gold, slightly hazy with a large white head. Rather mellow aroma, some wheat, banana and juniper berry. Clean, and very straight-forward. Light bodied and a touch watery. Honestly, a tad disappointing.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Not too bad at all. While the American Wheat pales next to the Belgian Wit or German Weisen this is a nice example of the domestic style. The 312 is the Chicago area code. The inhearent problem of this style is that it has too strong of a hop-grapefruit taste. This is a good beer though
