Like the digits suggest, itís a beer thatís densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We donít filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thatís how you know itís unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Itís not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youíd expect.

Hazy pale gold. Very fizzy. Wheaty aroma. Not a lot of character in the taste. Slightly sour aftertaste. It is a decent beer - especially when you need a thirst quencher.

Pours a dirty, light straw color with a small, scuzzy head. Aromas are bready with some pear notes underneath. Flavor is about the same. Pretty mild and boring.

Tap in Chicago at Bennigans. Actually, it looked pretty good for a hefe. Murky orange pour with a buttload of sediment. Aroma is... bleh. Taste is...bleh. I noted a heavy wheat presence, thin and watery body and a bit of soapiness. I like my summer beers, especially on this day in Chitown, but I think the Widmer they had on tap would be a bit better.

Got this as part of a variety pack. Not a bad beer, but nothing special to it.

Kind of weak, not so flavorful, not much better than ordinary. Itís refreshing, but itís not nearly as good as other Goose Island beers (like Hex Nut Brown Ale). Iím not even sure why they brew this.

Just had to weigh in on this one.... Itís not a bad beer, it has a muted banana/citrus/baking spice thing going on that, coupled with a very light body and low alcohol, really does make for a very refreshing hot-weather beer. The hops come through well as it gets just a little warmer than fridge-cold. It should cut the humidity here in Chicago nicely this summer -- that is, when Iím not drinking Bells Oberon, which is a much better example of the same style. I am disappointed with the description; what will people think Chicago is like if the brewer calls this beer "densely populated" with flavor, etc., and references the cityís downtown area code? This beer really should be called 847 (the north suburb area code, more exciting than the south or west burbs but it sure isnít the city). Got this as part of a Goose Island sampler 12-pack, itís not a beer I was looking for.

Pale straw color. I poured too hard and got lots of floaties in suspension. They eventually settled out. Attractive white head and a nose of citrus and grass. I really enjoyed this beer. It seems to be an American wheat with some flavor. Bready malts with some lemon citrus flavors. The finish has some grass and citrus rind in it. Nice refreshing summer beer.

Very pale straw yellow color with big creamy pure white head. Aroma is slightly citrusy, bit of honey and pear. Flavor is crisp, clean, almost lager-like, touch of honey. Finish is mildly sweet.

Pours a barely murky, pale yellow, with a small amount of fairly coarse, floating sediment. Aroma predominantly lemon and yeast, with some light bread and grass. Flavor not particularly impressive; very light bread and a barely bitter finish; horribly light. Medium-light body. Drinkable, but not one of Goose Islandís better offerings.

Bought this as a goose island sampler. bottle. pours a hazy, cloudy yellowish color with a thin short lived head. Aroma is of hops. This beer is different, tastes of spices, hops, and fruity flavor. Overall a descent beer.
