2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The bottle poured a hazy pale yellow beverage with a small smooth white head that lasted well and left decent lacing on the glass. The aroma presented a spicy blend of hop aroma with citrus and earthy tones lurking in the background. The body was medium-light with lively carbonation and a somewhat dry texture. The flavor started off tart and watery. It had a medium finish with a tart, somewhat dry character leaving a clean mouthfeel.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
This one sort of disappointed me after enjoying the 5 new Wheat series from Goose Island. 312 was way, way too light and lifeless. If I tried very hard, I could deciphor a hint of the wheat beer flavor and spice, but it just fell short in terms of body and flavor. The Bud Lite of Wheat beers.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
this is better than a 2.8 i feel. i mean, itís no gumballhead, but itís not supposed to be. a good summer session beer by most measures, i think an otherwise muted citrus character is pronounced well by a slice of lemon/orange. certainly best out of the weizen glass.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
When poured the beer looks to be unfiltered. Hazy straw like color with lots of floating sediment. Citrusy lemon nose. Mildly carbonated and dry, with notes of lemon and grass flavors, and a touch of hops in the finish. An okay beer/wheat.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle. Pours pale yellow, active carbonation with a quickly fading white head. Smells sweet and earthy alike. Very bubbly mouthfeel with a citrus crispness thatís fairly enjoyable. Very mouth-drying finish. I think more malt would give this basically decent beer a reason to rave.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2007 Pours pale and hazy with a frothy head. The aroma is mild with a citric character. Boring and unsubstantial. Thin body.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This hoppy metro wheat is spicy but smooth and leaves the consumer with hints of crisp lemon and banana tastes and smell. Goose island has been consistent with this beer like their others with big bold hoppy tastes but mixing it with a easy to drink highly hopped tasty wheat.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Slightly cloudy yellow body with a thick white head. Aroma has some hops, citrus and a grassy smell. Flavor is mostly absent, but hints at some citrus and wheat. Palate is watery. When Goose Island has the chops to make beers as good as the Bourbon County Stout or the Imperial IPA, I donít know why they waste their time on this one. Not a very impressive beer.
