Like the digits suggest, itís a beer thatís densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We donít filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thatís how you know itís unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Itís not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youíd expect.

A pleasant wheat to drink. Not overbearing with the sour mash taste that the stronger wheats get into. At least a two bottle buy.

Surprisingly, a pretty yeasty, wheaty brew from Goose Island. Almost a german hefe, though not quite. Cloudy and murky with a good amount of flavor. Easy to drink, yet overly fizzy as wheats tend to be.

A fairly typical American Wheat - not that yeasty or funky. Light yellow in color. Some aroma (faint). Acceptable.

Pleasant but not particularly impressive. Very easy to drink but rather bland, flavorless.

Ok, so initially this taste like sour water on the first sitp. After a couple drinks, it taste better, but still not all that good.

medium yellow, slightly hazy with lots of bubbles. Thick foamy head that disipates quickly. Slight lemon and orange aroma. wheat/lemon flavor. Yum!

This was definitely the best beer that I had during my time in Chicago. It has a very yeasty aroma and a cloudy appearance. It is clearly unfiltered and tastes wonderful. Itís very creamy with the taste of yeast and hops, with a hint of lemon? This is a very good beer, which I highly recommend.

Bottle--Drank in a park at an evening party, so the appearance was hard to rate, probably a cloudy yellow color with medium carbonation, lemon aroma and taste. Perfect drink for a perfect Labor Day picnic.

Hazed, straw yellow look, big, booming head, commands the top of the glass, but assuredly simmers down. Aroma: soft, spicy, citric. Banana and lemon on top, creamy underneath...nice. Nice in the taste, too. Soft and mellow, fruit and light spices. Delightfully flavorful, and terrifically quenching. Very downable, light and easy, delicate in flavor, but tasty as heck. Reminds me a bit of Oberon, without the funky yeast. If that silly distributor would have let me pick this up in a 6-pack, I surely would have gone through plenty over the summer.

Bottle: White head, lacing is good. Cloudy gold in color. Aroma is wheaty, lemony, hints of banana and clove as well. Taste is good, a solid offering for a wheat. I had some bad experiences with wheat beers when I first tried, but I think they are starting to grow on me. Maybe I just had bad imitations of them before I started rating them. For this style, this is excellent. Canít totally understand why this is getting such low ratings.

On tap at the Crescent Moon Alehouse. Great tap handle of a black telephone receiver. Paqle yellow with a fleeting white head. Somewhat hazy and cloudy, but not opaque. Citrus orange aroma. Body is light. Quick crisp finish. Solid beer.
