2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Hippo Beers. Hazy pale golden body with a thin white head. Average carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of lemon and straw. Dishwater flavour. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft carbonation. Dull, wishy washy rubbish. I couldnít finish it.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours straw yellow. A little haze in the color but not much. Fizzy white head is gone almost instantly with very little lacing. Aroma is wet grass, and a little sweetness. Not much complexity so far. The beer taste surprisingly sweet. Itís a slightly more complex version of the mass produced American beers. Itís hard to pin down exactly what the flavors are because none of them really standout. There is definitely some malty characteristics that I donít typically associate with this style. The beer also feels a little over carbonated. Overall, this beer isnít as bad as I was expecting. Maybe itís because I just got home from working all day and this is the first beer Iíve had in a couple days. Go into this one with low expectations, and youíll have yourself a middle of the road session beer with high drink-ability.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
355ml btl. abv4.4 b@eurospar.
White head, hazy bright yellow flourish body.
Scents of wheat malts, undefined fruits.
Fruity taste, old banana notes, some lemon.
Okay to palate, somewhat watery. Finishes with wheat bread, citric notes, and ok.
Overall I would say that Urban Wheat is not as fully as Deutsch Weissen.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle poured into a shaker. The aroma nothing special. Itís not offense, but itís faint faint. It has some light citrusy-sweet aroma to it (mostly lemon), accompanied by some floral notes and a light hop scent. It pours straw yellow with a thin, white head that, pours strong, but recedes quickly. Thereís nothing too dramatic in the taste either; having a mild sweetness throughout, and a light, pleasantly sour note at the finish. Initially tastes lemony with some bread-like flavor to it - maybe some clove-like spice in there too. It finishes closer to apple juice with some orange in it. The initial sips are highly carbonated, and the fizziness keeps some presence throughout, but by the end, itís a bit more malty and syrupy. Generally finishes clean, although pairing it with food seems to recall the apple traces in the flavor and a very faint hop taste. Although my scores are generally low, this has been a goto session beer for me for a long time, and will likely continue to be so - none of the flavors are overwhelming or offensive, so itís a crowd-pleaser and it pairs well with just about any food offering without enhancing or masking any flavors. The ABV and calorie count are relatively low too, so itís easy to throw back a couple of these without doing too much damage.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from the bottle. Just finished a sour beer so my taste buds are in shock, LOL. Aroma is so weak, I can just barely smell a bit of spice. Flavour is just barely wheat, I get no citrus too speak of. No head or lacing is disappointing. Definitely notthe best goose islander. Probably better summer beer when itís 100+ outside.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A: pours a light golden ale with appropriate haziness. Single finger fine white head falls to a quilt of the same. Cobweb thickness lacing.
S: Wheat, light orange zest. Simple, easy. Speaks summertime.
T: Stringent flavored ale. Simple wheat, early bitterness. Smooth and simple.
M: Medium to light for the style with high carb, as expected. Dry finish.
O: Okay beer. Not particularly good. Wish there was more dedication in one direction or the other as far as the style goes: hops or yeast/grain highlights.
