COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, it’s a beer that’s densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don’t filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

Cloudy golden yellow pour with white soapy head. Weak aroma of lemon, spice, and grass. Lemon, orange, slight spice, and grain flavor. Very drinkable, but not impressive.

One of the better American wheats I had. Has the good wheat flavor and refreshing components but a nice hop finish that adds flavor but is also in line with the crisp aspect. Similar idea to three Floyd’s gumball, not as good but very well done.

Clean but undistinguished. Very light aroma profile with touches of bread. Hazy yellow golden with a fading head (probably a bad pour from the tap). Some citrus and floral hop flavors with a bread backbone and a balanced taste. Light to medium-light bodied with a crisp finish.

Draft. Pours hazy hay. Fairly bland, unoffensive, smoothness all around. It’s like the bud light of wheat beers. Even less flavor than Blue Moon.

On tap - this is the beer that started the trend of stupidly naming your beer after a zipcode/area code/busline/etc.

Bottle poured into weizen. Appearance is a hazy golden color with orange tint and big white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is yeast, lemon zest, and spicy hops. Taste is wheat and light citrus, though it’s a bit weak. This is ok, but nothing special.

Hazy yellow pour. Minimal lacing. Faint yeast aroma. Smooth start, slightly bitter finish. Not a pleasant aftertaste. Had better ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
