COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, it’s a beer that’s densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don’t filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

Pretty average wheat beer. It is easy on the palate which makes it drinkable, but not much to write home about. It’s just ok.

honestly no better or worse than 90% of the american wheat ales out there. its still take a german hefe or belgian wit over the style though.

Draft at phillies game. Pour us a haze gold with a lace head. Aroma is a lite malt. Taste is a nice bitter, smooth. Finish is clean. A good ale.

Pours light straw, finger of thick white head, very cloudy. Wheat, spicy hop on the nose, not a whole lot there. Flavor is watered down, wheat malt and spicy hops as in the nose, a bit faint heffe type yeast. Low body, low carbonation very crisp, rather dry. Overall pretty bad, I don?t think I?ll ever have one of these again, unless the only other option is an adjunct lager.

Cloudy gold beer with a white head. Faint aromas of wheat and caramel. Tastes of wheat, barley, mild citrus notes and some bitter flavors. Semi-sweet caramel finish. Easy to drink and mildly refreshing. A bit flat and lackluster, but a decent beer.

35.5cl bottle: BBD 27 Aug 2013. Poured into a ’Coors’ Banquet flute at home on 2 Apr 2013. Light golden hazy body with a full head of snow white bubbles on top, loads of carbonisation bubbles on the side of the glass and rising through the brew to replenish the head. Lemon and other citrusy notes hit the nose, mixed with some yeastiness and hints of clove. Nothing overly strong, but combined they add up to an interesting aroma. The taste follows the smell: citrus, yeasty, with some herb/spice characteristics to give the beer extra flavour. I am not a big fan of wheat beers, or citrusy flavoured ales: this however blended the two nicely together and I quite enjoyed the experience. Lively, crisp and refreshing: not bad at all, a summer drink though.
