COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, it’s a beer that’s densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don’t filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

On-tap at the local BWW. Pours a semi-cloudy golden yellow color with a slight bubbly white head. The aroma is weak with grains, wheat, and citrus. The taste is smooth, with a mild grassy grain taste. Not a bad lighter craft brew but really lacks depth in the taste.

On draft. Straw color with little white head. Grassy aroma. Bready taste and very weak. Not a fan of this beer.

This beer grew on me a bit but it is not my style. Chalk one up to the advertisements, I was captured by the attractive telephone handle tap. Very light beer, slightly hoppy. The sweetness grew a little on me but not the best effort. Pardon the pun but they were "phoning it in" with this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy pale yellow golden. Decent frothy white head. Aromas seems like bread, wheat, mango, mild spice. Light body. Pretty dry. Flavor much like aroma. Yeasty. Lemon. Wheat. Toasty bread. Kinda bland really.

Not very good. Craft bud? Maybe a gateway beer. No aroma. Malty wheat. Not impressed never get it again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Part of a flight - five50 in LV. Cloudy yellow with white head. Tons of lacing. Aroma is subtle, wheat and a hint of banana. Similar taste and also subdued. Body is light, a bit foamy in the mouth. Largely unremarkable wheat beer.

Beer starts with a hint of earthy grains. As soon as its possible to smell, its gone. Appearance is atypical to an unfiltered wheat, this is the beer’s best feature. Taste doesn’t match others of this category. Its flavor is missing the smooth straw flavor with mixes of yeast of Schlafly’s Heff or Blvd Brewing’s Unfiltered Wheat. Beer is over carbonated, and you can taste it. This beer is good, it could be a lot better. Goose Island produces some higher quality mass market beers this is not one of those.

Haven’t met many beers I don’t like. This is a good one. Hazy gold color thin head. Mild aroma and tastse. Good summery brew.
