COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, it’s a beer that’s densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don’t filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

Pale gold with a short-lived head and ok lace. Bready aroma with hints of lemon, grass and spices. Bready malts and grassy hop flavors are evident, with touches of wheat. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation and a dry finish.

12 oz bottle. Bottled 1/19/13; about a month and a half old. Pours hazy pale yellow with a smallish white head with decent retention; it falls after a couple minutes, leaving a skiff of foam. Aroma is doughy, citrus powder drink, bland. Taste is lightly sweet and finishes dry; it’s wheaty, crisp, refreshing, watery, inoffensive, dull. Highly carbonated with a creamy mouthfeel. Brainless lawnmower beer that doesn’t taste bad--just really boring.

This poured a hazy straw yellow color with a white head. Aroma was pretty week, light grass and spicey yeast, not much else. Flavor was a bit thin bascially pale malt with light yeast and spice notes. Couldn;t really give it anything other than 5/10 because nothing stands out, but nothing offensive at all.

Poured on tap into a pint glass. About 2 fingers of white head. No lacing. Smell of wheat with slight hoppiness. Appearance is cloudy yellow straw. Flavor is pretty good, nothing ground breaking though. A good session beer.
