COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, itís a beer thatís densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We donít filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thatís how you know itís unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Itís not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youíd expect.

Bottle. Light gold in color with lots of carbonation. Small white head. Aroma is grassy and hops. creamy palate. Flavor is more hop than wheat. I’m not a big fan of wheat beers but I like this one. They didn’t go overboard on the wheat.

Pours a cloudy light gold in color. About a half inch of head on the pour, but it’s quickly gone. Smell is spicy, but off slightly. Taste is hoppy, but rather BMC’ish. Highly carbonated in the mouthfeel. Refreshing, but not good enough to warrant another purchase.

I really want to like this beer, unfortunately it’s a rare miss from Goose. Color is pale straw and transparent, similar to macro-crap. Taste is slightly wheaty and very light. Very very light. When it’s hot and the 312 is cold, it’s quite refreshing. However, so is just about anything. I’d have to say, stick to the other Goose Island brews.

The color was light, pale golden. The head was white, creamy, and laced some. The aroma was wheat and sweet. The flavor was strong wheat, but rotten somewhat. The palate was very carbonated.

Different than what i was expecting. Very citrusy with a nice after taste. Overall is very refreshing and easy to drink. Goes well with a nice meal at a pub.

Bottled at Monk’s Cafť, Stockholm. Cloudy yellow, airy head. Citric nose. Medium dry with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Streamlined but quenching, and with a pleasant citric twist. No bitterness. A good beer in a pointless style.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2008 A unique wheat ale that is highly quaffable, delicious and not overly complex. It is very crisp and refreshing. Though lacking in any real hop presence, it is full of sweet malt with hints of corn and sweet potato, and delivers an appetizing semi-sweet bright finish. 312 seems to carry a somewhat German hefe-weizen influence, but is mainly American in style, and is one of Goose Islandís most popular draft beers. It is a bright, hazy, sunny blonde ale with a bit of sediment and a huge, attractive, fluffy white head. There are doughy, breadlike malt and wheat aromas with fresh pineapple and cloves. Crisp and sharp on the palate, this urban wheat ale refreshes and stimulates, making it an obvious choice for summer evenings.

Golden pour with fizzy white head. The aroma is...um, risking sounding like my wife..."it smells like beer". The taste is mild wheat with refreshing citrus (orange and a touch of lemon) presence and tinges of floral. This really improved as it warmed. Light and refreshing. The only complaint is that the wheat presence was light. High carbonation, but this still goes down easy. A very fine summer drinking beer. I thought it was pretty good.

Sweet wheat aroma, color is a hazy wheat color (imagine...in a wheat beer!) The flavor is only average, but it goes down exceptionally smooth. The smooth palate is really the only thing that stands out about this. This is pretty much an average wheat beer, there’s nothing that would make me buy this over any other wheat beer I have tasted.

little lemon on nose, appearence is nice and somewhat hazy, flavor is hopped up more than most hefes(seems to be a micro trend in wheats), but that is one of goose’s traits, good summer beer
