COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, itís a beer thatís densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We donít filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thatís how you know itís unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Itís not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youíd expect.

"I have a bit of a soft spot for hoppy wheats. This one is light, but does the trick. Light wheat, yeasty spice and citrus hops combined to make a light refreshing brew. 38 in Chicago, but Iím in the airport pretending its warmer."

Transfer from BA review on 4-16-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance Ė The beer pours a lightly hazed golden yellow color with a big and billowy white head. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading to leave a nice level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell Ė The aroma is of a grainy wheat smell with a strong hint of a lemon citrus and some sweeter fruit aromas of an orange nature. Mixed with all these are some aromas of a yeasty and grassy aroma as well. Taste- The taste begins with a smooth bready flavor upfront. As the taste moves on, more grainy wheat flavors come to the tongue with some of the citrus detected in the nose coming to the tongue as well. The citrus is quite light however and is much less then would have been detected in the nose. The little bit of lemon and wheat flavors are soon joined by some grassy hop and more yeasty flavors in the end, leaving a rather smooth and crisp wheat bread flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel ĖThe body of the beer is on the slightly lighter side in its thickness with a carbonation level that is on the average side. The thinner body is nice for keeping it a refreshing brew while the medium carbonation is good for balancing the drinkability with the nice grainy flavors. Overall Ė A rather refreshing and quite nice drinking brew. It has a nice light body with a good blend of grainy wheat and light grassy and citrus flavors to make for a good session brew.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- Outstanding scent of hops and citrus Appearance- A great color, resembles a deep copper shade of orange.. Taste- Excellent flavor, wheat beers are one of my favorite styles. This brew has a lot of character with a strong showing of malt, hops, and citrus. Palate- Full body with a slick texture that has a nice long smooth aftertaste.

Good session-strength wheat beer. Not a lot of flavors but crisp, clean and highly refreshing.

Bottle. Sweet and fruity, peaches, crackers, and a bit of wheat in the nose. Light hazy medium straw color. Grass, grain, with light hopping. Thin body. Moderate in all aspects. Wheat doesnít come out much. This one does not impress. Except for the fruit notes, this is perilously close to mass market stuff. Has AB-InBev been playing with the recipes?

Served on-tap at Pickleís pub in Ocean City, MD.

A - Pours pale yellow with a nice one finger tall white head leaving light streaks of lace down the glass.

S - Fairly dull with hints of sweet bready malt, light citric fruit, pepper, and some faded hops. Fairly simple really.

T - Starts off with a big dose of spicy yeast that quickly gives way to a mix of chewy wheat, dulled earthy hops, light citric fruit, and some light peppery spice. The finish is pretty chewy with a tiny bit of hop bitterness, lingering on the pallet for some time.

M - Medium-Light body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Chewy feel, lingering through the finish.

O - Not really my cup of tea but I still enjoyed this one. It was a perfect beer for the beach with just enough flavor to keep me coming back for more.

Aroma has average hop and lemon scent. Golden hazy appearance. Refreshing taste with above average carbonation, good on a hot day. Citrus on the palate. Hint of lemon finish. Good summer beer.

Bottle from red elephant in truro uk. Looks nice - pale wheaty yellow with soft white head. Good carb. Pretty boring taste and aroma. Don't get much aroma - very slight wheaty ness. Taste is bland - very easy drinking but not of the right type in my opinion. Not massively far away from a main stream lager in taste ( apart from the wheat). I'll stick to german and Belgian wheats if this is what an American wheat is like (first one). ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. It pours hazy gold with a decent white head. The nose is wheat, dough, apricot, peach and some grain. The taste is crisp, creamy, wheat, lemon, grain, dough and grass with a dry finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. Simple, easy drinkable. Ok.
