COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, itís a beer thatís densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We donít filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thatís how you know itís unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Itís not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youíd expect.

Citrus fruit on the nose. Hazy, pale orange hue with a lasting, white head. Dry and somewhat bitter. Light body, average carbonation, with a citrusy, hoppy finish.

Hazy, pale yellow color. Medium-sized , white head . Aroma of malt , apricots , peach , orange. Sweet , malty taste . High carbonation . Not bad, but flavor is too weak and carbonation too high.

Pours a yellow color. About one finger white head. A little cloudy, not as much as I would have expected. Okay retention, okay lacing.

Aroma is slightly lemony. Its bready. Bran flakes? Not a lot going on. Smells like water. Everything about the aroma is faint.

Taste is lemony, bready, watery. It has a bit of grit to it. Thereís not a lot to it. Slightly bitter, I think more bitter than 18 IBUs.

Mouthfeel is light body. Itís so light, and would make a great summer beer. Itís quite dry. That bitterness lingers. Bit.

Overall, itís not that great. There are tons of better wheat beers out there. I would drink it again. But Iím not going to rush out and buy it again. I would recommend this as a summertime, hot day beer, but necessarily for my own cooler. But hey, I do recommend you give this a try, because then youíll have a better appreciation for better wheat beers.

Somewhat hazy, orange-yellow with fine effervescence and no head. Aroma includes grains, oranges, yeast. Soft, slightly sour and somewhat grainy. Soft carbonation, light body. This is a pretty forgettable beer.

Plain & ordinary wheat that is quite forgettable. It pours & smells decent but as I find with most wheats, thereís just not enough flavor profile or substance to make this very good. Itís not terribly flawed but just not my cup of tea!

Bottle from Hakim, thanks - Color: cloudy pale blond beer with no carbonation and small white foam. Smell: nice fruity domination. Peach and apricot nose. Small yogourt finish. Taste: light medium body with sweet malt and sweet cereal. Balanced with fruity as peach and apricot. Sweet finish. Cereals. good attenuation and really drinkable. Yoghurt notes. Aftertaste: sweet apricot and yoghurt.

Thnx to the representive ( yes, apparently GI has a representive now in BE, as they will soon start to import this brewery in Belgium. Of course, nothing like BCBS, only this type of... beer... ) Pours rather unclear blonde, not much head, and it fades instantly. Smell is weak. Taste is very weak. Slightly metallic maltyness, some corn-flake taste, but overall very very tasteless and wattery. Not sure how this would be a convincing beer to anyoneís palate. I can see people drinking loads of this, but not for itís taste, more like a lager-style of drinking.

Bottle. Not that good. Good session beer with some fruits. Creamy and smooth. Could be much better.

Pours yellow gold, initially very cloudy from wheat and yeast, with small white head that dissipates quickly. Clears to very attractive Sauternes gold. Nose is wheat and yeast. As it warms, apple and honey scents emerge. But the palate is more straight forward, without many of the spice and fruit notes common to European wheat brews. In their place, thereís some of the inevitable hoppiness that makes a beer "American" or "urban" or "hipster." But even that is fairly controlled. Overall, itís a nice, drinkable beer, but not one that makes a big impression. Sometimes, thatís what you want.

Licht wazig gelig bier met kleine romige witte schuimkraag. Aroma: citrus, moutig, tarwe. Licht mondgevoel met matig koolzuur. Smaak: zurig, bitter, pittig. Korte afdronk met bitterig eind en zurige toets.

Poor example of a wheat ale, little banana or spice on the nose, and a rather dull flavour.
