2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: DEC 10, 2006 Draught from The Pub poured into shaker with a lemon garnish - Pours clear gold with a very minimal head; Lemon and wheat to the nose; Lemon, wheat and a hint of pine hops on the initial taste; A bland wheat backtaste; Medium watery palate; Too much carbonation; Not impressed. Goose Island is normally spot on with their brews, but this one leaves a good bit to be desired. Lots of the lemon probably came from the garnish.

Bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is wheat malt and hops. Flavor is very weak but consists of mostly malt and fruit. Average wheat beer.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had this beer for breakfast after a long drinking session. Pours a cloudy light golden yellow with a thin flimsy head that quickly dissipates to a film. Aroma is a little funky... hay, grass, basement aromas, cooked vegetables, light smell of rotten eggs. Taste balance sweet and sour gives way to bitterness and eventually salt. Palate should really be more like a 3.5: light body, creamy, lively, with a lingering bitter finish. Would not buy again.

Draft. Hazy pale yellow with a white head. Lemony citrus aromas. Wheat spiciness in the flavor with hints of lemons. A bit thinner than I expected.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Massive head, and a bold yellow appearance. Wonderful aroma, almost apricot-like, very much wheat. Iím a little underwhelmed by the flavor, but itís still good; itís a wheat beer thatís smooth, for the most part. Perhaps I poured it improperly resulting in the large head that made it a little difficult to drink. Either way, I will very likely try this beer again sometime, and Iíd recommend it to others too!

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Very strong citrus, hop smell. I can definitely taste the wheat beer qualities, but the citrus flavor is a little too overwhelming for my tastes. Quite a bit of carbonation and a fairly abrupt finish. Probably my least favorite goose island beer Iíve had.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a clear yellow with a fluffy white head. Aroma is pretty typical wheat beer--yeasty, some faint hops, banana, and some "cheap beer" aroma going on in the background. Taste is sweet with some wheat and banana, and almost no hops. Refreshing mouthfeel. This isnít bad, but it isnít amazing either. Good summer refresher.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Not really fair, I donít like wheat beers, and this has a lot of wheat funk to the flavor. The fruityness makes the wheat flavor more distasteful to me. It is a smooth and fuller bodied beer for the type.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma is watery. It's appearance is great with a medium head everything else is a little sloppy and bland. Not much to palate a slight wheat taste.
