COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, itís a beer thatís densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We donít filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thatís how you know itís unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Itís not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youíd expect.

355ml bottle from Albert Heijn. The beer is hazy yellow colored and pours a small and unstable white head, with average carbonation. The aroma has clear tones of spices, wheat, hops and some fruity notes. The taste is light bodied and smooth. Tones of honey and wheat are also noticable and a light hint of hops, but further very watery. The finish is watery, soft and light bitter. Pretty boring beer, but the smooth taste made it a little drinkable.

Pours a hazy straw color. Moderate white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma is wheat and tart citrus. Similar flavor. Minimal aftertaste. Very refreshing lawnmower beer.

Pours orange-yellow. Thin wheat flavor with very little body. Refreshing in a sense that it wouldnít be bad on a summer day, but it isnít horribly satisfying.

Draught. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium foamy white head. Nose of wheat, yeast, fruits, little banana. Initial taste of mild wheat, citrus, banana. Watery body, belove average palate duration, too simple one dimensional not challenged wheat ale. Average head retention and light body. Overall not impressed.

Had this one on tap at Old Chicago with a calzone. Appearance was pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma was of citrus and orange peel. The taste was tangy and grassy with notes of citrus and lemon. Watery mouthfeel. Taste seemed to fade away quickly and with food faded away completely. An OK light wheat for summer, but there are probably better ones out there.

Tap @ Star Bar. Clear (?), light gold pour with a fine white head leaving coarse lace. Fruity, wet straw nose with a hint of cotton candy. Medium body with a faint lemon zest, hazelnuts and typical wheat malts. There is a sweetness which reminds me vaguely of arrested-fermentation NA beers. Perhaps this accounts for the heavier-than-expected body? Not a fan, but paired OK with my excellect Star Burger.

On tap at Ginoís East Chicago. Pours a nice golden hazy color with a medium white head. Aroma of grass and citrus. Taste of wheat and malt. Smooth as silk and finishes with little tease from the hops.

6-pack from Publix grocery. Pours a hazy yellow body with minimal off-white head. Nose of banana, subtle citrus. Flavors are similar to the aroma with the addition of lemongrass, dough, and a very subtle herbal note. Finishes clean. Medium carbonation and light/medium body. Not great in complexity, but easily drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
