COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, itís a beer thatís densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We donít filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thatís how you know itís unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Itís not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youíd expect.

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2011 Wow I cannot believe I havenít rated this yet, seeing as its probably the beer I drink more than any others since its always cheap on tap. Very great wheat, which gives way to floral and sweet fruit with an excellent finish.

On tap at Little Markís: Pours slightly hazy golden with a two-finger white head. Aroma of cereal malts, corn, and wheat. Taste is very mild, more cereal malts, a little bitterness from hops, but very smooth. Light body, nice carbonation, very drinkable, but nothing that stands out. Very tame beer, but thereís nothing offensive about it. Safe is the keyword. This is something Iíd recommend to someone that doesnít like beer.

A decent hot-weather American wheat, pours cloudy pale gold, very subtle spicing and watery flavor but thirst-quenching, I consider this an affordable but decent lawnmower beer.

Pours a straw yellow with a hazy cloud and a thick white head. the aroma is rather weak but i pick up some breadiness and wet grass. the taste is not bitter at all and watered down. other than that there is nothing terrible about the beer, you pick breadiness in the taste. would make a great session beer.

An ok effort. Just letting it sit for a few minutes and warm up made it much worse. All of a sudden got a little woddy flavor to it and then dissipated. For Goose Island, Iím let down.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2008 For a beer that claims to be so meticulously brewed, including being unfiltered, this is quite pedestrian.

Bottle. Hazy pale yellow, practically no head. Fruity aroma with some apricots. Fruity flavor as well, with some spiciness, and a malty finish with hints of grapefruit and citrus. Thereís a slightly sour taste going on. Easy to drink and quite pleasant.

Pours a dirty golden color with a tiny bit of head. Smells are rich of wet hay. Taste is a medium wheat/barley taste. Not a bad aftertaste. An okay beer.

Bottled. The body had the color of an unfiltered apple cider. Medium-lasting off-white head. Mild aroma of tangy wheat with a little yeast. Flavor was similiar. Overall, just slightly better than your average ho-hum American wheat.
