COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, it’s a beer that’s densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don’t filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

On tap at Chigaco Midway airport. Consumed two, served in frosty pint glasses, around 12pm. Aroma was barely noticable, but some hops and graininess present. Had a light yellow color but strangely hazy appearance. The flavors were more like a rather intense pilsner or helles, not anything too reminiscent of wheat. I enjoyed this beer thoroughly, I was surprised by how much flavor and delicate bready graininess it possessed. I ordered this one because it was the only "local brew" on the menu. That’s what the servers told me anyway. It was pretty dang good, I wish I could get my hands on it, I’d like to get a few six packs to work on...

12 oz pours a hazy yellow with a foamy head. Big fruity aroma. Soft body with yeasty taste, some wheat and some fruits at the end. Decent lawnmower beer.

This was definitely the best beer that I had during my time in Chicago. It has a very yeasty aroma and a cloudy appearance. It is clearly unfiltered and tastes wonderful. It’s very creamy with the taste of yeast and hops, with a hint of lemon? This is a very good beer, which I highly recommend.

Bottle from Americus Package. Hazy gold in color with white head. Aroma of citrus. Taste of hops, wheat and a bitter aftertaste. Decent cheap beer

Pours a straw yellow with a hazy cloud and a thick white head. the aroma is rather weak but i pick up some breadiness and wet grass. the taste is not bitter at all and watered down. other than that there is nothing terrible about the beer, you pick breadiness in the taste. would make a great session beer.

12oz bottle - Poured a hazy light straw color with nice white head. Aroma was sweet and smelled like grains. A light mouthfeel with wheat and malt taste. This beer is very easy to drink and is slightly watered down tasting which is nice on a summer day. I was fairly satisfied because it is alot better than Miller or Bud at close to the same price $6.29 a 6pac.

Had this at Giordanos with a slice of lemon (wtf giordano’s?...) - The beer itself is like a witbier without the belgian touch, but with american hops! Very good, flavors of lemon, coriander, wheat banana and cloves. Crisp and light. Finishes off with a nice low bitterness.

Very smooth and a nice change of pace from the stronger ales I usually frequent. I like that it comes in a can which is a trait I appreciate because of recycling and if you are counting calories (which I’m not) it is comparable to many light beers, but with way more taste. Found it at the grocery store on sale so the price was right and I’m not disappointed with the purchase.
