COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, itís a beer thatís densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We donít filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thatís how you know itís unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Itís not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youíd expect.

ON TAP - If this was the last Wheat at the bar, Iíd switch to something else. Artificial tasting and left me with a grimy feeling in my mouth. Really poor, perhaps the worst Wheat Iíve ever tasted.

Citrus, spice and wheat aroma wafts over the foamy white head and cloudy straw color of this unfiltered wheat ale. Mouthfeel is very creamy with clove, wheat and citrus flavors finsihing with a slighty hoppy aftertaste. Very refreshing and pairs well with light snacks and/or a picnic food.

12 oz pours a hazy yellow with a foamy head. Big fruity aroma. Soft body with yeasty taste, some wheat and some fruits at the end. Decent lawnmower beer.

This was definitely the best beer that I had during my time in Chicago. It has a very yeasty aroma and a cloudy appearance. It is clearly unfiltered and tastes wonderful. Itís very creamy with the taste of yeast and hops, with a hint of lemon? This is a very good beer, which I highly recommend.

Pours a straw yellow with a hazy cloud and a thick white head. the aroma is rather weak but i pick up some breadiness and wet grass. the taste is not bitter at all and watered down. other than that there is nothing terrible about the beer, you pick breadiness in the taste. would make a great session beer.

Bottle from Americus Package. Hazy gold in color with white head. Aroma of citrus. Taste of hops, wheat and a bitter aftertaste. Decent cheap beer

Very smooth and a nice change of pace from the stronger ales I usually frequent. I like that it comes in a can which is a trait I appreciate because of recycling and if you are counting calories (which Iím not) it is comparable to many light beers, but with way more taste. Found it at the grocery store on sale so the price was right and Iím not disappointed with the purchase.

12oz bottle - Poured a hazy light straw color with nice white head. Aroma was sweet and smelled like grains. A light mouthfeel with wheat and malt taste. This beer is very easy to drink and is slightly watered down tasting which is nice on a summer day. I was fairly satisfied because it is alot better than Miller or Bud at close to the same price $6.29 a 6pac.

Had this at Giordanos with a slice of lemon (wtf giordanoís?...) - The beer itself is like a witbier without the belgian touch, but with american hops! Very good, flavors of lemon, coriander, wheat banana and cloves. Crisp and light. Finishes off with a nice low bitterness.

So where exactly in the 312 might one grow a little urban wheat for this ale? Or am I being too literal? Iím enjoying this in the early spring and thinking how nice it would taste on a hot summer day -- if Wisconsin gets any this year. The aroma and taste are nicely subdued and it all works.
