COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, itís a beer thatís densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We donít filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thatís how you know itís unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Itís not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youíd expect.

Pretty good wheat ale. Itís like Goose Islandís take on cheap beer... I can dig it.

Pours clear yellow until the bottom of the bottle. Then a swirly haze hits the glass. Really neat looking. Aroma is wheat and spicy yeast. Flavor is tame. Nothing really there. Thin body. Easy drinking ale but lacks some of the qualities of a good wheat ale.

12oz bottle. Pours cloudy gold with a white fluffy head. Clean, slightly fruity aroma. Taste is very light. Be good after cutting the grass in the summer.

Pale, hazy yellow with very little white head. Light aroma, some sweetness and a little hops. Crisp flavor has some citrus and grain. Not terrible.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is faint: some waxiness and herby hops. Flavor is also pretty muted. A bit of nutty sweetness at beginning, then dominated by a mild, ascerbic herby hop character. Medium-light body with a thin, yet creamy mouthfeel and average carbonation. Overall, really not very good at all.

Pours golden wheat color (go figure) with a small white head. Heavy hay/grass aroma (go figure). Medium sour taste with the very faintest bitter on the back end. Very light beer. Almost nothing to it really. Not a great wheat beer. It fits the bill for being light and refreshing, but itís too light and the refreshing nature is more from just having a cold, slightly carbonated beverage.

On tap at Clybourn: Soft yellow. Thin, and not remarkable. Nice citrusy tang. A little bit of funk? Not as bad as some say. Weird label. Thanks to Ma Beth.

I used to like this one, but then realized it was not all that good. It is a watered down american wheat. If you like the style of american wheat then this might be okay for you. The malts just did not come through for me.

This was not one of those dry or bitter wheat ales. This beer was really smooth with a bit of lemon flavor. It has nothing particularly special about it, but it is consistent. I must disagree with others and say that I enjoyed this brew.

on tap at margarittavilley in navy pier chicago (10/7) This was my first beer after running the Chicago Marathon so was tasty in that aspect. Poured hazy and thick like a hefe. went down smooth with lots of hop with the wheat finish
