COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, it’s a beer that’s densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don’t filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

Pours a hazy golden yellow, with hints of citrus (lemon), and spice in both the aroma and taste. A good summer ale.

Beer pours a slightly cloudy golden color. Looks to have decent carbonation and pours a decent one and a half finger head. The aroma is light citrus, lemony, a bit grassy. There are notes of wheat as well. The initial taste is a nice pop of carbonation followed by that lemon note which moves across the entire palate. In the middle there is definitely a bitter hop astringency which moves into a nice citrus wheatiness. The beer finishes with a hint of wheat and then some more slight bitterness.

Pours golden with a thin white head. Aroma has notes of wheat, citrus and a little malt. Flavor is wheat and malt. pretty crisp beer. An alright wheat beer, but nothing special. Doesn’t really have a good body to it.

Pours yellow with white head. Smells malty, citrus and some stank. Taste is wheat, citrus and skunky hay. I might have just gotten a bad one since I grabbed it from a dirty corner deli. This was not good though.

Not too bad at all. While the American Wheat pales next to the Belgian Wit or German Weisen this is a nice example of the domestic style. The 312 is the Chicago area code. The inhearent problem of this style is that it has too strong of a hop-grapefruit taste. This is a good beer though

sampled at columbus alefest. pours hazy yellow with a small head. little to no aroma with just a hint of fruityness. wheat flavor, subtle spiceness and little hoppyness. overall, a bland wheat, but would be refreshing on a hot day.
