3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at the brewpub, Clybourn location
Cloudy blond color. Aroma of sugar and lemon zest. Tastes more like a Lager than a wheat, breadish. The final is quite crispy. Refreshing.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, 12oz. An unclear, yellow beer with a small, white head. Citrus and wheat in the weak aroma. The flavor is citrusy and wheaty, lacking on bitterness and punch. Flat, medium body, short and uninteresting finish. A beer that drinks easily but also bores the hell out of me. Rating: 5-3-5-2-10-2.5. 20110330
Bottle, 12oz. An unclear, yellow beer with a small, dense, white head. Mostly citrusy on the nose, with a touch of spices in the back. Wheat too. The flavor is on the citrusy side, on a backdrop of pale malts. Slightly spiced and acidic, rather thin on the palate and with too low levels of carbonation. Citrusy finish, blending oranges and lemon in a smooth, lemonade like way. Well, itís quite quenching, but itís certainly nothing impressive going on. Well, I think Iíll have a few more during the spring and summer, itís certainly better than the lagers weíre used to in Norway, and the price isnít too high either. 110413

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at White Horse, Parsons Green. Very pale gold, greenish tinge, thin white head. Not a huge aroma, touch of soap on the hop, but really refreshing beer. Bit dullish, little bit of lemon edge to it, more an American wheat than a wit. Not very exciting but very refreshing.

12 oz bottle. Dull orange color, off white head, great lacing. Aroma of black pepper and orange rind. Taste is citrus, malt, light spice, and the barest hint of burnt embers. Interesting.

Bottle, 4.2%. Fruity and teaish aroma. Hazy pale yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is also friuty and teaish, but has a quite watery finish. Flavourful - then watery. Might be refreshing in summer.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled 330ml (Black Door, BB 03/2012)
Hazy pale yellow color, good creamy white head. Sweet lemon candy aroma. Light body, crisp carbonation. Fruity, citrus-sweety flavor, light acidity. Hints of watermelon. Some kind of artifical notes here too, from spices? Quite simple wheat ale, which works probably best with food.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
@ ORD. Hazy light tan. Low but fluffy head. Spicy-yeasty aroma with light fruitiness. Full-bodied for a wheat ale with spice, yeast and lots of clean pale malt. Only a light yeast character but for an introductory beer this is pretty good.
