Bottled. A hazy straw coloured beer with a white head. A wheaty yeasty aroma with a bit of fizzy fruit and a bit of orange. Middle of the road fruity wheaty flavours. Just an average beer but it’s a boring style.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 FatPhil (7494) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 20, 2011
330ml bottle (K Market, Helsinki)
5 Flowery perfumy almost soapy aroma.
2 Pale gold, brief fizzy head.
5 Watery and minerally. Touch mashy and raw.
3 Watery palate, fizzy carbonation, some carbonic acidity too. Finish does at least have some graininess, and reasonably bold fruity hops.
10 Pluses and minuses, but pretty dull all in all.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 chriso (7254) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 22, 2009
Draught at the White Horse American Beer Festival, July 2009. Pale gold. Maybe a hint of yeast but not really very much going on. Easygoing and straightforward with no great character. Sweetish. May have shown better on its own rather than surrounded by a bunch of much bigger US beers. Not really a very inspired choice to bring over for a US festival but I guess they needed something for the normal Sloaney Pony punters.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 daknole (7193) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAY 26, 2008
Thanks unclemike. Pours a mountain dew like color and honestly I would rather have a mt dew.Aroma is decent. flavor isn’t.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 MesandSim (7118) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 7, 2009
A Mes rate: cask handpull at the Sloany Pony. Pale yellow with a thin white film. Faint citrus and yeast, some boring malt, lots of pondwater. Bloody hell. Rank. As the commercial description says, "not like any other Goose Island beer". Most of them are decent, some superb. This however was not either.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 CaptainCougar (7093) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - NOV 18, 2007
On tap at Clybourn on 6/20/07: Pours a clear bright golden with a thin covering of white head. Aroma of sweet orange citrus and pale malted wheat along with some floral noble hops. Body starts lightly sweet and wheaty with a dull bitter balance. Nothing that great, but pretty well done and drinkable for the style.

Bottle. Hazy gold and yellow with a medium head. Aromas are pineapple with caramel and wheat. Lemon with yeast and soft spices. Flavours are sweet tropical fruit with gentle lemon bitterness. Has a nice spritzy, yeasty palate. Decent.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Rasmus40 (6935) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2011
Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is wheaty, fruity and yeasty. Flavor is rather sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. A bit watery and lacks body. There is something artificial about the fruity sweetness. 010311
