COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, it’s a beer that’s densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don’t filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

2013-12-14. Crisp yellow body tiny white head. Aroma of grainy cereal malt, sweet corn like notes. Flavour is mild, lightly bitter throughout. Average to light bodied palate, soft carbonation. Decent take on what they were going for but a bit dull overall. Bottle sample at Abraxas, Miami

Bottle. Light sweet apple, banana and wheat aroma. Hazy orange-yellow color with small head. Lemon wheat flavor. Nothing special - an average Am wheat.

Bottle from Secret Santa. Pours hazy gold/dark straw with 2-finger off-white head. Aroma of bready malt, some hopcitrus, and some spicy florals. Medium palate density, with flavors of pale bready malts, heavy hopcitrus and some fruit, and floral spiciness with black pepper.

Bottle. It pours hazy gold with a decent white head. The nose is wheat, dough, apricot, peach and some grain. The taste is crisp, creamy, wheat, lemon, grain, dough and grass with a dry finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. Simple, easy drinkable. Ok.

Hazy pale golden colour with small white head. Fruity hoppy wheaty aroma with some sweetness, cereal and hints of rubber. Flavour is fruity hoppy with malty sweetness. Easy but decent Wheat Ale. Smooth.

On tap at The Burgundian Tavern, pours a clear golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of light wheat malt, not much else. Flavour of light wheat and not a whole lot else. Very weak and watery, though it is refreshing - just very boring. Not much to say here. OK.

Draught at the White Horse American Beer Festival, July 2009. Pale gold. Maybe a hint of yeast but not really very much going on. Easygoing and straightforward with no great character. Sweetish. May have shown better on its own rather than surrounded by a bunch of much bigger US beers. Not really a very inspired choice to bring over for a US festival but I guess they needed something for the normal Sloaney Pony punters.

DruncanVeasey (7318) - NUNEATON, CONF N, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - SEP 7, 2010
Bottle- served in a weizen as instructed. Misting straw, fine uneven collar. Bright, zesty, lemon meringue and pineapple jelly aroma like an English GA. Lemon curd on wholemeal toast with dabs of sherbet and honey; squeeze of lime, tingling condition. Lemon puff biscuit finish with soapy bitterness and perfumed hop. Refreshing.

DrSilverworm (7217) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 4, 2011
UPDATED: APR 5, 2012 From bottle. Appears cloudy, as advertised. Hops have a floral, citrusy taste that makes this drink refreshing, but it finishes very short. Much less of a bite than I prefer, very short flavor, but for some that may be a good thing. Kind of sour taste.

There really wasn’t a lot to this beer... Cloudy yellow pour with a small white head. Only some slight citrusy aroma, but you have to sniff really hard. Flavor was wheaty, with a little of the citrus hoppiness from the nose. Light-bodied and watery. Not a whole lot in the finish, either.
