COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, it’s a beer that’s densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don’t filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

Pours a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus. Tastes of wheat, citrus, fruit, hops, and other sweet notes. Drinkable and an all right beer overall.

Little let down by goose island. This as a pale yellow Hefe with some boring citrus and spice hotes. Needed a lemon wedge to make this most interesting. Guess it a decent middle of the road beer.

Some citrus nose. Super mild palate with more citrus and bread. Easy drinking yet boring

Draught. A kind of light American wheat. Not much hefeweizen character. Refreshing, but boring.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a Weizen glass. The label has a "Bottled On" date but no ABV% Appearance: It has a very light hazy straw yellow color with some fine yeast sediment in suspension. There is a little visible carbonation as well that helps support it nice foamy white head. The head hangs on well and makes a few cool lace rings near the top of the glass. Smell: The aroma is light and has a simple clean bready/yeast character. Taste/Palate: There is a light clean bready/biscuit like malt base with a very light hop bitterness. The finish is snappy and the light body and texture are refreshing. Notes: There not much to say. It hits its mark as a basic Pale Wheat Ale.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 1D). Bottle 35.5 cl - Batch unknown. AROMA: low grainy and slight doughy aroma. slight malt sweetness. faint citrusy hop note. APPEARANCE: pale yellow color and slightly hazy. small white head with poor retention. TASTE: low grainy malt flavor with slight cardboard notes. medium-low to low bitterness. no hop flavors PALATE: medium-low to low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an american wheat ale that lost its charm maybe due to be at the end of its Best Before date.
