COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, itís a beer thatís densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We donít filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thatís how you know itís unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Itís not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youíd expect.

well, the only reason I actually had this was a tour. Iím not a fan of wheats in general, and this wasnít an exception. Hazy banana color, little head. Smelled of corn? some beer smells. Nothing extraordinary. I suppose if youíre a fan of this style, it would be very easy to drink, but I didnít like the flavortaste...

Draught: Light yellow in color. Clear and sparkling. Small white head. Good lacing. Hay and straw malts. Light, grassy hops. Light body. Slick texture. Fizzy. Bitter finish. Wheaty. I also agree with the comments by Mariano500.

On draught at clybourn. Hazy yellow with a thin white head that diminishes fast. Aroma is honey, lemon, and wheat. I was caught off guard by a hop presence to start the beer. Fizzy in the mouth with a sligh lemon taste. Not a big fan of American Wheats, but this is one of the better ones in this style.

On tap at Clybourn: Soft yellow. Thin, and not remarkable. Nice citrusy tang. A little bit of funk? Not as bad as some say. Weird label. Thanks to Ma Beth.

Pours a mildly cloudy piss yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma of husks and c-hops. Flavor is mildly sweet med. sour with a very mild citrus twang. Med. light body. No real bitternesss. I hate American Wheats. Can I get an Amen from the congregation!

Poured into a 1/2 liter wheat glass expecting little head formation. Pours yellow with intense carbonation and a thick white head that diminishes quickly. Only slightly cloudly, mostly clear. Aroma of citrus and Cascade hops with hints of coriander and clove. Cereal grainy taste. Cardboard malt and wheat finish. Typical American wheat beer. No yeast flavor at all. Mouthfeel is watery and only lightly carbonated. Smells MUCH better than it tastes. Hops save what could be a bad beer, making this drinkable, but not good. A dissapointment from Goose Island.

Bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a large frothy white head that was mostly lasting. Light citrus wheat aroma. Light to medium body and a thin texture. Moderate sweet wheat flavor with small bitter finish of short duration.

This one sort of disappointed me after enjoying the 5 new Wheat series from Goose Island. 312 was way, way too light and lifeless. If I tried very hard, I could deciphor a hint of the wheat beer flavor and spice, but it just fell short in terms of body and flavor. The Bud Lite of Wheat beers.

Tap in Chicago at Bennigans. Actually, it looked pretty good for a hefe. Murky orange pour with a buttload of sediment. Aroma is... bleh. Taste is...bleh. I noted a heavy wheat presence, thin and watery body and a bit of soapiness. I like my summer beers, especially on this day in Chitown, but I think the Widmer they had on tap would be a bit better.

Bottle (12oz) Pale hazy yellow with an average white foamy head. Watery, grainy aroma, hint of fruit, plenty of wheat alright, sort of sweet. Tastes grainy and a bit papery - incredibly weak, flat, not a very good beer, Iím sorry to say
