COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, itís a beer thatís densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We donít filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thatís how you know itís unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Itís not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youíd expect.

Draft - pours murky light neon yellow with light white head and some lacing. Nose is wheat and lemon. Aroma is lemon peel and citrus hops. Taste is bitter and mildly sweet. Light body and thin texture. A good summertime drink.

Great summer beer, nothing special. Clean, crisp, lacking the yeast character I really like in wheat beers.

Poured into a shaker glass from a 12 ounce bottle bottled on 4-24-2012.

A: Clear yet hazy pale yellow body with a decent sized white, sort of soapy looking, head. Lots of lazy carbonation bubbles float to the top. This looks decent.

S: Mild citrus in the aroma, sort of a bit like urine actually. Thankfully the aroma is very faint. Not a fan.

T: This is pretty meh. Slight lemon tart with mild spice, this is just boring.

M: This feels pretty dead on the tongue, carbonation hits at the end lazily.

O: Not excited about this at all, bland and boring.

While I my be biased because Im from chicago I love 312. My favorite wheat. Only wheat that stacks up is gumball head.

Very nice wheat for the non-wheat crowd. Nicely balanced across the board. Pretty light.

Pours a tad hazy, good head, nose of citrus wheat. A bit sweet and fruity, but very easy to drink for and unfiltered wheat. The body is not a thick as you would expect from an unfiltered. One step up from say a Blue Moon.

well, the only reason I actually had this was a tour. Iím not a fan of wheats in general, and this wasnít an exception. Hazy banana color, little head. Smelled of corn? some beer smells. Nothing extraordinary. I suppose if youíre a fan of this style, it would be very easy to drink, but I didnít like the flavortaste...

Draught: Light yellow in color. Clear and sparkling. Small white head. Good lacing. Hay and straw malts. Light, grassy hops. Light body. Slick texture. Fizzy. Bitter finish. Wheaty. I also agree with the comments by Mariano500.

On draught at clybourn. Hazy yellow with a thin white head that diminishes fast. Aroma is honey, lemon, and wheat. I was caught off guard by a hop presence to start the beer. Fizzy in the mouth with a sligh lemon taste. Not a big fan of American Wheats, but this is one of the better ones in this style.

On tap at Clybourn: Soft yellow. Thin, and not remarkable. Nice citrusy tang. A little bit of funk? Not as bad as some say. Weird label. Thanks to Ma Beth.
