apingos (54), Rockford, Illinois, USA May 30, 2007 On tap at old Chicago in rockford. No head to speak of. cloudy, yes and drinkable. Strong lemon taste. Summer sunset is a more balancrd brew.
DuffManOhYeah (114), USA Jan 6, 2009 Not bad at all. It’s not anything to write home about, but it’s a solid choice if you want a wheat beer. I’d prefer Hoegaarden for sure, but if you’re in the midwest, some 312 wouldn’t be a bad choice. Trev (629), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA Jan 3, 2009 On tap at (do not laugh) TGI Fridays in Chicago by Midway Airport.
Pours a clear pale gold with a nice fruity/wheat aroma.
Flavour has a definite fruity lemon like hook to the wheat body and light grassy hop.
Went very well with JD BBQ Steak and Onion Rings... PKPMarine (7), , California, USA does not count Jan 3, 2009 There’s a reason that Goose Island took this off their seasonal list and started brewing it year round. Their description of 312 as having "densely populated flavor" is definitely accurate. There’s a lot more depth of flavor than most wheat bears, but it still remains quite refreshing despite having a slightly bitter aftertaste. estebon100 (7), skokie, Illinois, USA does not count Dec 29, 2008 Has a hazy look to it with slight head. A very nice and easy to drink beer for me. Has a slight lemon twist to it. not a very complex beer at all but a nice every day drinking beer. GMUcrew7 (249), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Dec 28, 2008 Pours hazy light straw color with a small white head. Faint nose, light fruit and grassy hops. Similar flavor, light and crisp, somewhat hoppy with some lemon and grass. This is an easy to drink beer, would be a little better if the flavors were more prominent.
