On tap at wingporium, Toronto. Amber beer with off-white head. Floral nose up front with nice grassy hop notes and some citrus. Taste is citrusy and peppery with plenty of hop content. A malty backbone completes the offering. Earthy, dry mouthfeel. Decent bitter finish. Nice ipa that’s true to the style.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour on tap at the brewery, slightly hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of grass, orange, and pine, some slight biscuit, bready notes, touch of spice in there. Taste is a mix of grass, bread, some herbal notes into a bit of orange, more pine and resin into a bit of biscuit, finishing bitter, slightly dry.

Tap at Dulles airport. Very floral aroma. Straw color. Strong floral hoppy taste. Some hints of grapefruit and hay. Malt bitter finish. Ok if u like hops I guess. Not my first choice but better than the macro crap on offer.

Cask @ Goose Island: Bright & clear amber body. Great clarity with a thin, fine-bubbled frothy, bright white soap that sits on top forever. Gotta love the cask heads. Aroma of sweet grapefruit peel, burnt sugar cookies, mild peppery spice, tangerine, & lots of caramalt. Smells good, but a bit sweet. Warm, smooth flavor from the cask. Nice body. Caramel malt all over the joint. Baked dough, grapefruit flesh, candied orange peel, zesty citrus notes, moderate herbal hops, a touch of floral bitterness, & a bit of toasted malt in the finish. Slightly earthy. Finishes mostly with a body of malty sweetness, edging on caramel. Not bad at all, but I rarely fall in love with caramel & sweet malt laden IPAs.

Draft at the Goose Island brewery. What a shit hole. Pours a golden yellow. Nose has tropical fruits. Taste is pretty fruit driven and a tad watery. Not too bad. A little watery on the palate.
