Aroma. Medicinal with hints of blueberries ,little taste of cardboard. Appearance ruby red. Taste. Blueberries with Robitussin cough medicine. Palate. sits fine on the palate. Overall not thoroughly impressed with this beer. The Cubs would be disappointed in this beer too. Had at Goose Island Cybourn

A terrible fruit beer for goose island. Raspberry in color and heavy flavors of malt and blueberries. I did not find this beer good. Had a draft at goose island wrigleyville. It is as bad as the Cubs

Location: Draft at the Wrigleyville location, 7/6/14, My 100th Fruit Beer tick! Good times!
Aroma: The nose is sweet and fruity, but fairly light, hints of blueberry and candied sugar
Appearance: This one pours a pinkish color with a thin head and some average lace
Flavor: The taste is similar, it is light and fairly sweet, but not crazy sugary or fruity
Palate: The body is fairly light, it drinks okay, and has some fairly average carbonation
This one is what you’d expect. It doesn’t get overly cloying, which is nice. If you are looking for an easy drinking fruit beer you could do a lot worse.

It's a blueberry ale, but doesn't taste sweet or fruity. Just tastes like a good beer to drink on a hot day. Refreshing and malty. Color is clear light with a tinge of pinkness. On tap at Goose Island Wrigleyville.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
lighter in color. It has a pleasant raspberry/blueberry aroma. Not a complex beery, but overall solid. It mixes a sweet caramel, tart raspberry/blueberry flavor. It has a smooth clean finish.

On tap @ Goose Island, Wrigleyville. Medium brown with a mottled purple haze color, almost no head. Pleasant blueberry fruit aroma. Nice light beer with a soft blueberry flavor, a little bit of sweetness. Would be very refreshing on a hot day, and easy to drink several. Not too fruity. This beer is a regular annual feature at the brewery honoring the home town boys of summer. Go Cubs! ...one of these days anyway!!!
