3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at The Pour House in Westmont, NJ.
Pours a dark golden orange color with tangerine edges and a one finger off-white head that slowly fades into a lasting ring. Streaks of soapy lace left behind.
Aroma dominated by estery Belgian yeast and pale malts. Surprisingly not very hop forward with slight floral and pine needle character. Lots of bread, light fruit and biscuity malt in the nose.
Medium bodied and again, surprisingly lightly hopped considering the deScription. Subtle floral hops presence along with some faint citrus peel followed by pale malt, bread and light fruit. Nicely balanced and easy to drink but nothing out of the ordinary.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Rated on 9-29-2012 at Dash-In (Fort Wayne, IN) This draft beer has a small head that is fully lasting, transparent reddish-orange body, very little carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is citrus, pine hops, earthy, yeast, and caramel malt. The flavor is citrus, pine hops, moderately bitter, yeast, earthy, and some caramel malt. The mouthfeel is soft carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. For this beer’s style, it is not overly hoppy tasting. It is very easy drinking and worth trying.

I had this at Global Brew label Minx. Pours orangish with off white head. Taste belgian yeast, citrus, earthy. I thought this was pretty good. I would drink this again.

08/16/13 at Bovine’s restaurant, SC. (On tap). First thing I noticed was the great smell of hops! The taste was as good as it smelled. Poured a nice amber color with a little foam on top. Defiantly a good choice!
