2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JUN 29, 2006 On tap at G.I. Clybourn. Poured a clear, bright golden with a tall cap of creamy white head. Lots of lacing. Light and airy aroma with pale malts, clean floral, and a hint of honey (more honey as it warmed up). Pale malt and honey base with mild floral bitterness surrounding... not terribly exciting, but crisp. Light and clean on the palate.. never watery.. no complaints.
Bottle: Clear medium golden pour with a moderate white head. Some yeast and floral hops in the aroma, but rather weak. Sweet bready malt first hit the palate, followed by some caramel and subtle spices. Citrus hops and some bread provided a pleasant medium-lasting finish. Balance was quite good, and this was a refreshing blonde.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAY 31, 2007 Draught. At the Clybourn brewpub. Poured very pale yellow with a small head - pretty ehh-looking. Sweet aroma, grassy and grainy, nothing wrong with it, nothing really to speak about. Taste was the same - mild, light, grassy and softly grainy, quick finish, no adjunts, no aftertaste. Watery body, a decent bit of astringency, ever so slight amount of mild hop bitterness in the quick finish. Very easy to drink, quite refreshing.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Surprised to find this the cask-conditioned brew at this moment. I have had this in bottle, and the cask-conditioned is far superior (The numbers are based on cask). The straw hue was topped by a thin but creamy head and there was some lace. The aroma was very english in style, mellow and aromatic hops surrounded by toasted malts and citrus. The taste was twangy yet smooth. The finish was dry and had a touch of "weizen like" banana and spices. The mouthfeel from the cask was fuller and slighty creamy, this is not the case at all with the bottle version. On cask: Recommended to try, Bottle: Avoid, unless returning from a hot and dry day at work.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ the Clyborn location. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet tangerine with some sweet grains and a bit of flora. Flavor has tangerine throughout with a growing grain note that has a bit of sweetness.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
What I had on tap at the brewpub (listed as 5% abv) is perhaps better suited for the bottle, chilled and ready for drinking after mowing the lawn. Golden with a small head, it’s got a light, sweet malt and wheat aroma accented by mild floral hops. Somewhat watery, it delivers a softly sweet, malty flavor with a respectable amount of bitterness for the style. Fairly refreshing.
