On tap @ the Clyborn location. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet tangerine with some sweet grains and a bit of flora. Flavor has tangerine throughout with a growing grain note that has a bit of sweetness.

Flight on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a hazy golden hue with touches of crisp darker glow, lighter elements on the bottom. Tiny whitish head dies to a small loose ring, laces small. Aromas are gentle touches of tangerine and bubblegum, some dry bready malts, crisp cereal grains. Touches of apple, oranges, and straw. Sweeter nose with just a touch of crisp dryness. Odd one. Initial is lighter bodied offering touches of oranges and bubblegum up front. Mellow sweetness shows some bready malts, flaked wheat, and some mellow dry straw into the backend. Fruit forward but still lighter on the palate. The sweetness up front trails intop a bit of a grainy and mellow finish, cereal grains, bread, and mellow sweetness gives that raw grainy dryness, a kiss of bready dryness, and some lingering fruity esters. Pretty fruity overall and fairly enjoyable once you get past that sweetness and kinda the oomph it puts out (not cloying, but sweeter for the light body and airy feel). A bit thin perhaps. Meh.

on tap at GI Cly, 23Mar2012, Taste? what taste? this is a boring one.. just slam it down and enjoy.. would be nice to drink on a hot summer day.. other than that give me something with more body, less bubbles and more taste.

Draught at Goose Island. Clear yellow/golden - white head. Sweetness. Light candlewax. Medium hoppy. Vingummi. Light candy. A bit plain.

Blonde Ale--1999 12 oz. Bottle. 4.70% ABV. (4.0 / 5.0) Clear bright golden color. Floral hoppy malty front is lightly spiced-enticingly flavorful. Rich crisp crystal malt body with hint of citrus. Refreshing clean finish. Malty and hoppy for a Blonde. Sampled 6/19/1999

[Tap] Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma of sweet grains and wheat malts. Taste is clean and malty, with a nice body. Light lemongrass and floral hopping in the finish. Crisp mouthfeel with a high carbonation level. Very drinkable!

Sample at Clybourn. Clear gold pour with a medium white head. Creamy malt aroma with a bit of grassy hops. Mostly malt flavor with some bitter hops coming through in the finish.

Light straw appearance, aromas of grass and banana. Flavor is light and crisp, a little bit of coriander and green flavors come through. Not bad, but not memorable.
