Bottled. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma has strong notes of chocolate, as well as medium notes of alcohol, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, roasted malt, and chocolate. The chocolate gains in strength towards the finish, where also a Bourbon note mixes in. The alcohol leaves a burn on the tongue.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2011 Bottle on Angs birthday. Thanks to Scopey for this. Black. Lots of coffee. Thats pretty good. There is some alcohol on the finish. Very malty and coffee on aroma. Thats pretty big. Not too subtle or balanced. Its good but yes too big. Some vanilla comes through from the Bourbon still. Too alcohol hot on the finish. Could I drink a whole bomber of this? I doubt it. Having more and intense flavours doesn’t always mean having better flavours. Thanks for allowing me to try it though Paul.
