22 oz. bottle. To say this is one of the best beers Iíve ever had would be an understatement. So glad I got to share this experience with TheDude. It pours a rich black black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, bourbon, strong booze notes. lots of tart cherry notes too. Full bodied, creamy carbonation. This is near heaven. Finishes with tons of rich cherry, spicy rye bourbon, and booze. Lovely. One of my favorite beers of all time.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours thick dark, unclear roasted black malts in color with a big creamy cocoa colored head. Aroma brings sweet find a bit zesty pleasant cherries, my favorite part. Flavor brings cherries and some warming notes from the rye whiskey barrels. The cherries are a bit medicinal at first, but more pleasant as the beer settles. Roasted malts arenít as prevalent as expected.

Bottle at City Tap House during Philly Beer Week.
Thanks to foofaa for the share, reviewed from notes.
A - Pours dark as night black with a small half finger tall tan head, dissipating down to the lightest of films, leaving spotty webs of lace on the sides of the glass.
S - Smells like a plate of cherry pie served next to a shot of bourbon with hints of chocolate fudge, vanilla, dark roasted malt and some spicy rye from the barrel. This one smells like an awesome combination.
T - Starts off with the fudgy chocolate and cherry tartness quickly giving way to the warm bourbon, vanilla, rye spice, dry oak and the dark roasted malt. Finish is pretty hot with a good amount of sweetness, lingering long after the finish.
M - Big body with moderate carbonation. Thick, boozy feel makes it hard to finish more than a glass.
O - This one smells killer but the strong flavors and above average booze make it really hard to consume more than a glass at a time. Glad I finally got to try it but I prefer some of the others more.
