Our brewers love experimenting with their beer almost as much as they love drinking it. This unique blend, aged in rye whiskey barrels with loads of whole Michigan cherries, is the one they are proud to finally let you share with your friends at home – or not. After your first sip, you’ll agree, this beer has some real stones.

Stouts III Tasting. Thanks to Bruce for this belter! Almost opaque dark brown beer, little tan head. Palate is smooth and slightly viscous with fine carbonation. Sweetish dark chocolate with a little aniseed and spice. Malt cream. Lovely morello cherry, not too sweet. Little rye spice. Touches of marzipan and almond. Finishes sweet and mildly spicy. Lovely!

Bottle shared in NH, many thanks to Adam. Pours dark, brown-black with a creamy, beige head. Definitely some tangy cherries in the aroma. Big sweet flavor, lots of dark, sugary malts, lightly cutting tart cherries, some bitter cherry pits. Big bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately warming to finish, some dark chocolate, fresh cherry character, dark bread, oily coconut, brown sugar, light vanilla. Very nice stuff. Quite drinkable with good depth.

Dumpfer Kirschantrunk mit deutlichem Alkohol. Wenig schokoladig, vollmundiger werdend, weiterhin alkoholisch. Noch OK aber zu viel von allem. 9/11/8/12/9/8
