COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Everyday Goose Island smells the wonderful coffee roasting next to our brewery at Chicago’s Intelligentsia Coffee and Tea. This world class roaster puts the same passion and skill into their coffee as Goose Island does with its beer. This excellent stout is made with a different coffee from our friends next door each year. With the change in coffee comes a change in the flavor profile, making each release truly unique from the previous years.

- First bottle release seen in Spring 2010 as "Bourbon County Coffee Stout".
- Also available previous years at the brewpub as "Black Cat Bourbon County Stout"

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma has strong notes of chocolate, as well as medium notes of alcohol, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, roasted malt, and chocolate. The chocolate gains in strength towards the finish, where also a Bourbon note mixes in. The alcohol leaves a burn on the tongue.

Bottle at home ... thanks to RCL for this one ... deep black ... thin brown lacing ... big roast ... big whiskey ... light coffee roast malt nose ... bourbon front ... lots of chocolate ... light coffee ... nice solid roast ... heavy and rich ... definite alcohol presence... some coffee in linger... nice ... wee bit too much bourbon... well this started at 4.2 but has worked down to 3.8. I do really like this but the bourbon of which im not a fan is defintly to much... saying that its definitly still a pretty tasty beer
