4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle 9314 bottled on 11/19/2010 and shared by Nimrod & Buckles, thanks!!! Inky black pour with minimal head and minimal carbonation. Aroma of smooth bourbon, molasses, chocolate and some leather. Taste is smooth bourbon, chocolate, tobacco and sweet molasses, not as aggressive as I was hoping for or expecting. An excellent beer, but might have been better a couple of years ago.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Feeling hot hot hot. Thatís what this beer is. $45 for an intensely hot, over the top beer. Lots of bourbon, vanilla, chocolate and roasted malt. Go figure. Again, for $45 you would expect complexity and brashness, but a hot mess of alcohol? No thanks.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
The boldest, yet smoothest example of an imperial stout Iíve ever had. Tons of chocolate, some vanilla, not boozy at all, smooth and sweet. Itís HUGE flavor and yet completely easy to drink. Pours black slighty brown coffee head, no bubbles. To sip and savor, get some if you can!

4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Bottle from a T25 trade last year. Aroma of sweet bourbon, root beer barrels, plum, molasses, and caramel. Flavor really capture the exquisite Pappy bourbon and the root beer barrels. Some might say a hint of licorice. Appearance shows flat, but this one definitely has some hidden carbonation. Palate is wonderful. It's dancing on my tongue. I want to make ice blocks and skate on it, then thaw it in the Winter and drink it. Incredible beer!

500th rating! Legit, I didnít plan this it was an accident. At Stephens House with Stephen, Aaron, and Dave. Pours jet black with no head whatsoever. Aroma is beautiful fig some soft roasted malt notes. Complex, and nuanced caramel and brandy barrel notes(I know what it is actually aged in though), rounded subtle burnt sugar. Taste is rounded mellow bold flavors. Beautiful. Fuck yeah! Burn sugar coconut, dark fruits, figs, fuck yeah.
Thank you to kevin for generously trading this to me; F2Brewers is a stand up guy.

Taste is delicious chocolate, molasses, bourbon and molasses. Incredibly tasty. Mouthfeel is medium with alcohol noticeable. Top-notch brew.

22 oz. bomber. Poured pitch black with little tan head. Very smooth and sweet compared to the regular bourbon county stout. Nice bourbon flavor. Great beer.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Fortunate enough to try this from a coworkerís bottle. Comparing to the original BCBS, this has a bit more bite, flavors are more smoothed together.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle pours thick jet black with tan head. Aroma is nice. Strong chocolate and bourbon. I could smell this all day and night. Just wonderful. Flavor is what you expect from bourbon county. The chocolate, coffee notes, and that wonderful bourbon note. A touch of soy in there as well. The bourbon is smoother than the regular version. Just outstanding.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle, courtesy degarth. Pours dark brown with some red highlights, lacing and head are both minimal. Nose is strong on smooth bourbon with chocolate and vanilla. Flavor is so damn smooth with the bourbon. It turns the base beer into something incredibly drinkable and delicious. Loved it.
