Pours a deep dark thick black, minimal light brown head. Bourbony, oaky, a bit of vanilla but less than expected, malty caramel toffee like notes follow. Much more vanilla in the flavor, kind of like ice cream, big alcohol flavor, bourbony, chocolate, caramel, sweet. Not bad boost juice.

Bottle share thanks to DexterCat. Pours black no head. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate, normal bourbon county. Taste is smooth, chocolate, maybe some vanilla? but its quite lite. Aftertaste is smooth, Very nice beer, a bit sweet.

Bottle thanks to drewface. Pours a nice dark color. Minimal head. Not much vanilla. Could be because the bottle is old. Flavor is nice. I get a lot vanilla still. Still get the 13 alcohol. Pretty awesome overall. I like it as much as the rare.

5/IV/14 - 1Pt. 6Fl. Oz. bottle from The Bottleshop (Canterburry, UK) @ home - BB: n/a, 2010 vintage (2014-340)

Dark brown black beer, huge aery beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of vanilla, caramel, alcohol, bit dusty, sugary, sweet, toasted coconut, burnt sugar. MF: ok carbon, full body. Taste: sweet start, burnt caramel, sugary, some banana, mocha, sweet chocolate, vanilla. Aftertaste: lots of vanilla, burnt caramel, sugar, bit sourish, chocolate, more vanilla, alcohol burn which is a bit of a shame and makes it a 4 instead of 5 for Palate.

NOSE: vanilla all the way, coffee, bourbon, alcohol. TASTE: bourbon, vanilla aftertaste, easy drinking in a way, long lasting taste. Very good, coffee, alcohol and mocha.

At Stephenís house during GABF 2013, dude canít hold his liquor. Aroma is huge smooth roasted malt bite, dark fruit, plumb. Taste is chocolate, medium vanilla notes, amazingly smooth malt, big bold flavors that are super smooth and very savory. This is a delicious brew. Worthy of the hype.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with only a small beige head. Nose is vanilla, molasses, vanilla, chocolate. Flavor is sticky sweet, with caramel, vanilla, chocolate, coffee. Full mouthfeel. Ridiculously good.

Tasted at Goose Island Southern Migration. Reminds me of classic Bourbon County, but dominated by vanilla. Least favorite of all the Bourbon County Variants. Its like Ringo, in that, its still a damn Beatle. Bottle - The Argosy - Atlanta, GA

Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is of bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, slight alcohol, and roasted malt. Smells absolutely fantastic. Taste starts off with a ton of vanilla flavor and chocolate. The bourbon flavors of the base beer arenít as strong, but they do blend it well with the vanilla. Mouthfeel is sticky and thick. Sharp alcohol bite after each sip. The vanilla didnít come off as overpowering, it just made the base beer even better. Just perfect!!!
