Pour is black with no head. Aroma is big and boozy with some subtle sweet notes of vanilla, fudge, and toffee. Whiskey shines through in the flavor with a background of oak, toffee, and toast. A little less harsh than the regular BCS, but it loses some of the flavor as well.

This ones poured a dark brown color with a tan head. Aroma was a good amount of bourbon, dark chcocolate and roast. Flavor was much the same, a bit boozy, but very smooth at the same time.

Sampled at FoBAB 10 - 2012 (Chicago, IL). Pours a rich dark hued element, dark and ominous, big and rich. Dark. A frothy tannish element laces ok. Aromas are a bit spicy, bourbon, and oak. Gentle spirit, toast, and roast. Sweeter malts. Initial is sweet and cakey, vanilla and fuidge, firm spirit, oak, and gentle whiskey. Spice, some toast, vanilla. Richer sweet malts, toffee, toast, blackd arkness. Backend is roasty, topffe, and toast. Good firm malts, roast, toffee. Spirit. Nice beer, good flavors.

Fobab. Slightly less intense than the regular bcs. Great aroma with notes of toffee, vanilla, and bourbon. Silky smooth with tons of bourbon without being over-powering. Each taste lingers like the good old. Bcs stuff. Great.

Very similiar to the original (perhaps proving a point). A sipper for sure, big and boozy but delicoius.
