Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, rye, bourbon, alcohol, light raspberry. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, raspberry, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20121109]

Rich body, low in carbonation, sweet roast, licorice allsorts, filled chocolates and again lightly tart berry notes. Warming alcohol finish but never boozy. Very delicious. 280712

Bottle @ Fanø Slumber Party, 2012. Pours black with a creamy head and lacings. Sweet roast, oak, vanilla and bourbon. Flavor adds berries, soy and a bit of salty liquorice. Lovely fresh raspberries lingering. Smooth. Really nice.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are vanilla, bourbon, roast malt, raspberries, blackberries and notes of licorice. Nice and warming.

Bottle at Fanø Slumber Party 2012. Pitch black – brown head. Licorice, high malty, coconut, berries, raspberries, blackberries, light acid, light malmelade, fruit acid, high sweetness, light whiskey, light medicine, high blackberries. Lovely........Needs a small amount of smoke to be perfect.

Bottle, 22oz. A black one, topped by a dense, finger-thick tan head. Lightly boozy nose with bourbon and raspberry. The blackberries isn’t detected. Coffee, roasted malts and some chocolate too. The bourbon isn’t as evident in the flavor as in the aroma, but on the other hand the raspberries are much more evident. Roasted malts, some coffee and a fine bitterness towards the end. Full-bodied and warming, especially warming in the end. A quite unusual one, very nice. 121109

Botella @ KingCecil’s Spring Tasting. Black colour, dark brown hue, no head. Sweet lightly sourish dark fruity plum roasty malty alco bit wood and chocolate aroma. Good mouthfeel. Sweet dark fruity berry sour roasty malty chocolate flavour. Great brew!

Pours opaque black with a very little beige head. Aroma has liqourice, raspberries, fruit-drops, rhubarb, oak and roasted malts. Medium to low carbonation, oily and fat mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of sweet fruit, oaky dryness, liqourice, softly vinious, drops, ammonia. Well balanced when you consider all that is in there.
