Sampled on tap at Goose Belgian Fest (Chicago, IL). Pours a well hazed dulled golden hue, very hazy. A hazy frothy offwhite maybe eggshell white head that dies to a thicker film, ok lacing. Aromas are cereal grains and red plums, a touch sweet, darker tannins, with some bread yeast, and dough. Light apple and red fruit. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, lingering darker plums mix with bread dough, bread, touches of yeast, light fruit. A bit one dimensional, perhaps to highlight the plums. Finish is lingering plum and bread, touch of yeast, faint vanilla, crackers. A light touch of tartness. Nice brew.
