On tap at Clybourn. Pours a clear yellow orange with a beige head. Earthy sweet herbal nose. Sweet herbal flavors but drinkable. Slight bitter finish. The yeast and hops seem to carry this beer. Decent. 7/4/8/3/15

Draft at CI Clybourn. Pours a golden honey color. Small white head. Good lacing. Sweet fruity gumball aroma. Lots of spice. Starts off sweet, but the hops kick in to give you a bitter finish. Nice beer.

Draft at Clybourn. Pours a slightly clouded pale gold. Fluffy white head. Nose is soft and inviting, notes of crisp malts, light biscuit and some faded NW hops. On taste, again clean and lightly fruity. Clean spicy note as well, white pepper and a hint of resin. Finish is clean. A touch boozy. Not as good as their normal saison, but falls right in line with what GI does best. Nice.

CaptainCougar (7129) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - JUL 5, 2010
On tap at Clybourn location: Pours a clear deep golden with a wispy coating of white head. Has an authentic sweet biscuity nose with lots of light fruity esters. Starts with good fullness and pale Belgian malty sweetness with some bready complexity and earthy bittering hops before a peppery finish. A pretty true to style and enjoyable saison.

Draught at brewpub. Unique saison with a lot of fruit to it. Menu says papaya. I get that plus a good deal of other tropical fruit. Very tasty.

Our 3rd beer on tap at the brewpub w/ Rachy. Hued orange, amber. Florals & honey. A bit dry but doesn’t surprise me after seeing the alchol content.

Pours a cloudy gold with a moderate but thick white head. The aroma was floral, and chardonnay like, interesting. Definite floral and citrus flavors. Light body with a moderate bitter finish. Not bad.

Draft served in a tulip at gi clybourn... Pours a medium hazy muted apple cider brown with a thin to medium soapy whit head...fruity saison yeast And pineapply tangerine esthers play the dominant with a fair bit of earth. Hops not too apparent in the nose in comparison to the actual flavor... Flavors follow a similar profile with the addition of some semi-bittering chinook in the finish. Quite refreshing and drinkable.
