On draft at Clybourn brewpub. This brew was great. Light, bright yellow color with white head. Fruity and grain nose. Fruity taste of blood orange, lemon zest. Medium body. Finish is light, bitter, slightly crisp, and clean. My favorite brew of the day.

draft at clybourn. Pours clear honey color with white head. nose has tangerines and peach fuzz. nice and bright! Flavors are very bright earthy oranges, lot of citrus fruit in this. a refreshing bright citrus brew perfect replacement of orange juice for your breakfast beer, a bit watery and simple but tasty!

Flight draft on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a glowing lightly hazed golden hue, some liquid sunshine with a decent bright white frothy head atop. Dies to a film, laces ok. Aromas are huge citrus rind, lemons and oranges, grapefruit comes on strong moving into fruity orange juice, bread, pale malts, touches of spicy yeast. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, big citrus rind and fruit up front with grapefruit, tangerines. Some good citrus, but not all that bitter moving into bread dough, pale malts, faint yeast spice with some grass. Brings some passion up front, then a bit bland. Cool, citrusy finish is fairly clean overall. Interesting, not bad. Offers most of it’s flavor up front dying out into the finish. Aroma was great though.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear gold with a white head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma was full of citrus with orange peel and a good amount of lemon coming out with a yeast backing. Flavor had a citrus that built in tartness with a good amount of lemon with a bit of sweet grains.

On tap at Goose – Clybourn. Poured clear, lighter golden with a dense white head. The aroma was very fruity with lighter-skinned and exotic citrus character representin’.. pale malty base.. peppery on the back of the nose.. quite assertive. The flavor found sweet honey and pale malts at the core.. blood orange and pine bitterness surrounded, along with a hit of vanilla.. sharp, bitter finish. Light-medium bodied and refreshing on the palate, but it was very bitter.. overall a solid, interesting drink.
