Lovely beer, nice colour, sweet aroma with hints of caramel and lovely hoppy, and sweet toffe taste, nice creamy texture. A beer for people with taste.

yuck!!! I’m probably rating this too low for ratebeer’s algorithm to include my review but oh well. this beer is awful. i’d rather drink a pale lager. i don’t normally like golden ales to begin with, but this one has gotta be the nadir of the style.

22oz bottle, dated 5/07/10. I thought I had rated this before, but it looks like the old Demolition is different than the new one. This one is soft malt, citrus and floral in the nose. Orange & gold color with noticeable haze and a two fingered white head. Soft pils, some black pepper, candi sugar, light citrus and apple/pear in the flavor. A little too much lingering sweetness, although it is nearly wholly balanced by hops. The sweetness is not overpowering but more akin to a triple’s sweetness rather than a BGS. It is certainly OK, but there are many other GI beers that I would go to first,

Got a bottle out of a shop on Wabash, drinking in downtown Chicago so it taste that much better. Nice, fresh flavor, not to heavy but has a good bite. Fizzes out kinda fast and turns dry like white wine, with a banana and green apple flavor. Overall its a good beer for the season and area of the country. Try it!

Bottle @ Oz’n’NZ tasting 2011. [thanks feldthaus] Clear golden yellow with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, some banana, yeast, green apple, light zesty. Highish carbonation, dry and bitter. Flavour is fairly fruity and malty sweet, banana again with some green apple. Yeast and some esters. Mild orange and some viniousness. Quite delicious.

Bottled. Pours clear golden with a white medium sized head. Nose of yeast, with fruit and caramel notes. Flavour of yeast, citrus and spicy notes (white pepper). Light to medium bodied. Soft carbonation.Creamy texture. Ends up dry with a little bitterness. OK and crisp but not extraordinary in any way and I would prefer a real Belgian instead.

1lb 6oz bottle. Pours golden with very thin head. Some bubbles and suspended yeast. The nose has some sweetcorn and pale malt. There is also some sweetness and banana yoghurt. The taste has more sweetcorn with some pale malt and toffee. The palate is quite big in structure, very creamy in texture and fairly clean and lengthy finish on the end, though not quite 100% refreshing . Overall, great beer that just gets better!
