Bomber. Bought at Super 1 in CDA, ID. Pours a hazy orange-gold with a medium white head with good retention; leaves some cobwebby lace. Aroma is nice and full of Belgian yeast; also maybe some buttered bread. Taste is sweet and spicy with a light bitterness. Has a fruity tart finish. Body is medium-full and the carbonation is medium. Really good--for an expired beer. I just noticed the date: 180 days from 9/21/10. Beer seemed to go downhill after the first glass, lowering some of my scores, and no, I donít think it had anything to do with me knowing it was expired.

Bomber from State Line. I hadnít realized this one was a new recipe when I bought it, but it may in fact turn out to be a bit better than the retired version. Itís a bit softer and more fragrant overall, with perhaps a bit more emphasis on fruity flavors, even as thereís still a decent hop presence along with mild yeast character. Solid.

Botella with amigos. Clear like nice golden colour with a white ehad. Pleasant honet malty fruit aroma. Good mouthfeel. Flavour is fresh with yeast and honey, fruity with citrus and mild spice like. Refreshing.

Bottle @ White Horse. Pours cloudy golden with a nice white head leaving some lace. Aroma is fruity, caramel, spicy and yeasty. Flavor is fruity, sweet, spicy, caramel, yeasty and grassy. Finishes with a very nice hoppy, yeasty and spicy aftertaste.

[Bottle] Clouded golden appearance, decent head formation. Yeasty apple, wood and caramel aroma. Sweet yeasty apple flavor, some cork (not a cork sealed bottle), mildly citric and bitter in the finish. Cloys a little in the aftertaste. A little too sweet and sugarry.

Pours a clear golden with a white head. Sweet with aromas of caramel and hints of bread, Belgian yeast (nice discreetish choice) and pepper. Grassy hints. Medium to full bodied. Medium to soft carbonation. Nice and clean version of a Belgian golden ale but still slightly cloying an Iím glad I shared this one with the mates.
