Long days and warm nights awaken the city. The list of neighborhood festivals is endless. As is the great music that brings us together in parks and parking lots. We brewed our Session IPA to be easy drinking and endlessly refreshing, so you can enjoy every encore. Bright note of fresh oranges and other citrus fruit with a mild body that is crisp on the palate.

Admin Note: Although this is similar to Forcone, Goose Island assures me this beer is a different recipe for large scale release in 2014 evolved from that original batch for Pitchfork Music Festival 2013.

Bottle. Taste is mild hints of citrus, dough, pine cones, hops and hay. Decent, but very tame IPA.

This beer is called Endless IPA but then itís a limited release. Does that seem right to you? This is on the strong side for being marketed as a session IPA but five percent alcohol is still perfectly in line w/ what most Americans drink in quantity so I say thatís OK (same alcohol as, say, PBR). It pours a nice clear, golden orange w/ a long-lasting ring of very fine bubbles for a head. This is a mild beer even for the style. The nose is light floral and citrus hoppy notes and the flavor is about the same, accented w/ a tea leaf astringency. This is rather on the dry side and has snappy carbonation which lends it a crisp drinkability. The finish is relatively clean and more astringent than it is bitter but it works well enough. I donít know Iíd necessarily want to drink this endlessly but Iíd be happy to sit outside w/ a six pack of this stuff in the cooler so thatís good enough for me.

Has a fresh cut grass aroma and a golden amber color. An unusual hop flavor that is more spice than bitter.

Pours out a nice moderate amber color with a nice off white head, clear and a solid amount of carbonation. Aroma is some soft citrus fruits, floral notes, and some light grains. Taste is decently balanced, some light citrus fruits, some bready malts, light floral notes, soft carbonation. Some odd chalky notes in the middle, but finishes with a clean bitterness. Iíd drink it again.

Pours a golden color with medium white head. Aroma is citrus fruit, light hoppiness. Taste is much the same, nice and smooth and easy drinking. I liked this on tap!

Clear amber; big frothy off-white head and lots of lacing. Aroma of herbs, resin, rye bread, and mustiness. Taste is grainy malts and mild bitterness. Light-medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Bright golden, rocky head. The aroma is earthy, bit dirty. Unfortunately the drink isnít as good as Iíd expect ... this drinks with a weird, funky vegetal base. After several sips I finally get a little bit of citrus rind, but itís far too late by this point. (#5514, 5/11/2014)

FROTHINGSLOSH (5973) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 11, 2014
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright yellow-golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded quickly and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was grassy, onion, herbal and quite off - rather awful. The flavor was grassy, herbal, onion and off again. Long finish which given the flavor was regrettable. Medium body. Absolutely awful!

Pours a hazy gold, aroma of bitter piney hops, sweet malt. Taste is bitter, malty with fresh milled grain. Average session ale

Bottle. Bright clear golden orange pour with a big fluffy white head. Some citrus notes but some other off flavors as well. Not bad but not up to Gooseís usual standards in my opinion.
