COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Long days and warm nights awaken the city. The list of neighborhood festivals is endless. As is the great music that brings us together in parks and parking lots. We brewed our Session IPA to be easy drinking and endlessly refreshing, so you can enjoy every encore. Bright note of fresh oranges and other citrus fruit with a mild body that is crisp on the palate.

Admin Note: Although this is similar to Forcone, Goose Island assures me this beer is a different recipe for large scale release in 2014 evolved from that original batch for Pitchfork Music Festival 2013.

Golden pour with nice head. Lively carb. Smells like citrus, wheat, and a little cat pee. Tastes like I imagine cat pee to taste like. Vile stuff. Another session IPA fail. If Founders and Lagunitas canít make ones I like, and now Goose Island, it might be time to give up on this style.

At Heathers in Springboro. Bottle. Immediate hop flavor of strangely wheat rye. But tastes better when poured in a glass. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Very good flavor for a session but not much body, which was expected. Overall it just wasnít my favorite hop combination.

[Bottle] Clear golden pour with a medium sized soapy head. Mild grassy hop nose. Taste is of light citrus, grass, dough, light pine and light herbal notes. Light to medium body. Hop bitterness fades quickly in the finish. Fine I guess, but not one of the better Session IPAís I have had lately.

Aroma of wet hops, earth. The appearance is clear gold/orange. The flavor is earth, soap. Earth, citrus, pie finish. Like a lot of "session" IPAs,, makes up for weak body and low ABV with a blast of hops. Not bad though.

Had a bottle of this at an event last week. Nice floral hops. Pleasant bitterness in the finish. Not bad.

Drought. Rich yellow with large white foamy head, hoppy aroma, dry hoppy taste, medium carbonation, longish finish. Good for a large scale producer.

A watered down version of a pale ale. Some lemon, grass, and pine in the hops and flavor. The malts are too dominate in this, they take over the middle. Golden orange with fluffy head.

2 oz. or smaller pour, on tap at St. Paul Summer Beer Fest. Consumed on 6-7-14. Pours a clear gold with beige/off-white head. Fresh, hoppy aroma features citrus and pine scents. Pleasant, floral taste features grapefruit, lemon, and mineral flavors. Lively in the palate. Medium body. Tasty, subtle, and refreshing.

35.5cl bottle pours with a clear deep gold body that supports a short lived full light tan head that receded to a white ring of foam. The modest aroma is sweet with mango and citrus candy and then it picks up a faint pine hop notes in the background just as Iím getting a slight fruity cotton candy like sensation. The taste starts with malt sweetened citrus hop flavor thatís sweet tangelo and clementine and then it flows into a bit of mango, floral and spicy hops. After several sips I notice floral hop notes getting more and more bitter into the finish. Pretty nice but it seems muddled in spots and isnít as snappy as it should be.
